Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Marc and I recently purchased a used 2004 Black Grand Touring RX-8. Had all the packages I wanted, had the black leather with Brown accents..Couldn't ask for more. Found this place so was hoping to meet some other 8 owners and get in on some meets or something, networking or whatever. I live in the Waltham area so if you see a black RX-8, that's me. (I have yet to see another black one in my area)

I got a lot of posts to read and catch up on here on the forums..so I'll be making my rounds. Slow day at work here.. heh. Nice to meet everyone.

name is Alex. been in 04 black rx8 for 2 years. goes to tech college in worcester, ma
(got a license with brother's fully modded rx7, then the rotary inspiration got 8 as my first car!!)
maybe having MA 8er's meeting sounds awesome!

btw Zelse, how did ya ended up getting snowday? lol
I dont see any snow around here though.. maybe snow starts this afternoon?

lol Maybe. I actually have the car at the shop right now. Engine light came on..Ran a check and says that something is up with the Cat. So we'll see what happens. In the mean time..Driving my Mom's Mazda 6 Sport Wagon Grand Touring... Sport automatic baby. LOL

Nice to meet you though Alex. Like I said before, would be cool if we met up. I tried making friends with some Evo driver over here, but he thought I was trying to race him (even though my car was parked) and he did a burn out and sped off...Cool kid.

Hi Marc. Welcome to the club! Astral lives in Waltham, and I go up there to my office a couple times a month on fridays. We hang out at night, sometimes working on our 8s. My office is off of Moody St. Astral has a WB and I have a VR. Both of us are also members of NEPOC, old Protege club that has now turned into all Mazdas at www.mazdas247.com We have meets and events all the time. Talk soon.

Welcome to the club both of you.
Most of us are all spread out and have a few meets every so often. Just alot of us are busy with life and shyt haha. Myself I live in Norwood and I'm usualy always up for a meet (if time/life allows).

Check out the stickied thread up top of the regional board here about the new "Rotorfest" replacement in July. That is gonna be the HUGE event for the summer for our coast as it stands right now.
