PA new owner here saying hi yall

hey all, looking for a forum for my new toy =) and stumbled upon this one.

live in pottsville pa, im 30

and just scored myself a hell of a deal on a new leftover 2010 RX-8 R3 in velocity red. and so far i am in f'in heaven, so will probably have questions etc. i have always been a rotary fan. always loved Rx-7's used to love going for rides in my buddies 81 Rx-7 and just amazed at that 1.1 ltr engines performance, and have drooled over Rx-8's since they came out. and now

well now I OWN ONE.

first questions. any first things i should do? 250 miles on it atm. do i have to baby it for a certain amount of time. and know any cheap 16-17" rims i can throw some snowies on for winter time.

thanks all
lars

thanks alot, i was not planning on a rx8, (even though i loved them never though i could easily afford on) but was looking at used mazda speed6's when i stumbled across this gem on the lot, its a 2010 left over 140 miles the manager told them to take a loss and just get rid of it they where tired of seeing it so all in all saved about 12k off sticker =) so i mean how could i refuse such an amazing car, and i dont think a smile has left my face since i signed the papers

first let me say welcome to the club... and second if that's the red r3 from scott's i drove your car before it was your car lol. long story short last time i was in for my 60 k service and they just threw me the keys for it and told me to be back soon, kind of surprising that the dealership would just give a 20 year old keys for their nicest car... ps im jealous of your recaro seats o and also im in germansville about 15 mins away from allentown

Hey have you guys dealt with Scott a lot? I just bought my 8 from a dealership in Ardmore and wanted to know what you thought of their service. Since I'm in Allentown, and I would love to be able to take it to a place near by.
On a side note, Heeroguy, that's a sweet car. My gf and I went on a test driving spree and saw that one on the lot and it was love at first sight. Didn't get to drive that one, but sure as hell wanted to. It was one of the reasons I bought the 8

well my experience there was good, but all i have done so far is just bought the car. no service or anything yet, so i cant judge from that.

but yea of all the cars on the whole auto mile as we were looking it is the only one i had to stop and walk over too. then i had to have it lol
