How about this idea for a meet in Lakewood, NJ some time after May?

About 5-10 minutes from GSP exit 89 LINK

Is a class A (team sucks) minor league affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies called the Lakewood Blue Claws HOME PAGE. They have a very nice stadium with a large parking lot.

If we can get at least 30 people to pay $35 bucks we can rent the PARTY DECK

If people are saving $$$ for their turbo kit there is a $23 PICNIC AREA plan

Prices include food & the ticket. I’m thinking a weekend day game after April would be good. I guess for now post your handle or PM me if interested and if it seems like there is a bunch of us that wants to do this I will get a firm date booked etc.

I'm probably going to head to that meet that TsopranoIS300 mentioned. Seems like it's for a good cause, and we would get to b/s with some other enthusiests.. even if they work for the enemy :p

On a side not, Kel.. I'll have my Hiro's on and my MS front bumper as well.. finally broke down and bought one to complete the MS kit.

Great Cars + Bad Baseball 5/7/2005

Called the Lakewood Blue Claws today and the Saturday May 7th 1:05 PM game is open for us to get the Picnic area. The minimum number of people needed is 30 maximum can be over 100. Depending on the responses this post gets over the weekend I am willing to pay the 25% deposit and hold the date. The cost per person is $22.95 adult / $16.95 kids under 12 which includes the ticket, food & soft drinks. We can also park all our 8’s in the same area on their lot. The easiest way this can work would be to Pay Pal me the money ( I will eat the pay pal fees) if interested. I know the scam alert pops up but I feel I have a good track record on this site and the Blue Claws said anybody could call them to confirm the event. So please reply if anyone here would be interested. If I can get 15 people that would want to go I will place the deposit on Monday.

Seems to be not enough interest so I don’t wish to be on the hook for a deposit. The BlueClaws phone # is 732-901-7000 & their homepage is www.lakewoodblueclaws.com Anyone else that wants to organize this you can go for it :D

Have you guys ever been to IKEA on a Sunday? It's worse than any parking lot right before Christmas that I've ever seen. And that was in Sept and May. Unless they have an area roped off, I'm staying as far away as possible. Great cause but a crazy place.
