Hey guys/gals! I purchased an RX8 about 2 months ago. It has been gutted and the cage is currently being done! I will be racing it in the TeamDI PRO-IT series (SCCA) www.proitseries.com. I also just purchased a Mazdaspeed3 HB for my wife... wanted another RX8 but we are expecting in October so the space in the hatchback will be needed. I have never even had a Mazda so I will be excited to meet some of you and get some advice! I will post again when I actually get it to the house 
The RX8 wont be road legal but we are now loyal to the 8 and we could always meet up with the speed3!

Pembroke, NH here, just north of Hooksett, south of Concord. Used to be a regular on the board but fell off for a while. Have an '06 Shinka. I'd be up for a Fall meet for those who still have their cars out after Labor Day. Mine's a DD so it's out year round.

Do any of you do any autocrossing with your 8? That would be a great get together... possibly meet up in Loudon for a NHSCC BMW or SCCA Autocross.
Another idea... I am going to race a buddies car in a few weeks up in Loudon with SCCA and I may possibly be able to get you a chance to do a drive around on track. (At controlled speeds) If anyone is interested I can do some legwork. Maybe start a fun tradition once a year at NHIS and maybe a second one at LRP in CT.
I obviously wont have my racing 8 done yet but it would be great to meet some new people.

^ Nope...don't do auto-x, only track. Thinking best bet to get any real number in one place is to name a nice brewpub somewhere.. Portsmouth, Manchester, somewhere....brewskis and pubfood....

Nice! I just picked up an 05 shinka as well
My wife named her Shaniqua my black cherry stripper... She says I get more excited than I should about the car 
Hopefully we can do a NH meet sometime this summer!

Its funny because I almost traded in my RX8 for an STi about 2 weeks ago and I was really getting on the STi going into corners when I was driving it. Decided to wait one more year on the STi but ever since then I have been cornering the RX8 like crazy.
