I just bought an 04 and it feels like I've got some sluggish acceleration going on during hard acceleration. I'm not sure though as this is the only 8 I've driven. I might just not be used to the rotary engine. So I'm looking for someone from Mass/Ct preferably Western Mass/North CT to test drive my car and help me diagnose the problem if any. Anyone game?

 

well im currently in waltham ma and prob wouldnt mind taking a look at it. im not a pro but i can certainly try.. i also have an 04 rx8 also.

Hey thanks man I really appreciate it. How long have you owned your 8? Have you ever driven any others? All I really need is a comparison test drive to see if there is any noticeable acceleration difference.

 

Just got the car, not exactly sure how the previous owner drove it. But I definitely will be redlining.

 

yea i redline sometimes.I have had my car for about a year now. how far you from where i am? what day and time would be a good time for you? and where would you want to meet? hey im planning on going to the new england race track this friday if anyone wants to join?? ill prob be there around 5.
