Sad day tomorrow, but glad I was able to be part of this era!!

I doubt it, bmw is smart, they sell cars they know the masses will like, they dont sell niche cars, which is why they keep dropping the z4 and pushing the m3 and m5
Other companies have tried it with the rotary in the past and just couldn't do it

new 8 in the fam! my boy is picking up his shinka on saturday.
Dave, if I understand right, its not for BMW production. they will try to enhance the design and sell as a seperate brand just as they do with Rolls Royce and Mini. its more about keeping certain automotive history alive. alot of people dont know Bmw was almost bought by Mercedes in the 60s. jus to be disbanded.
