this had to have been the dumbest conversation ive ever heard,
of course they do that to 8's, they do that to EVERY car, ive had it done to mine all the time, its a rarity for someone to care about what work you do, especially if its functional and subtle
people only care about who goes the biggest, who does the most ridiculous crap or makes the most insane amount of power, or whos car is the prettiest in pictures
you just cant give a ****, go for the cause, not for the people
and worst case dude, just call them out on there ****, that will shut them right up
course idk if you would want to take that advice from someone whos on everyones **** list

Forget about all that man. You should come because this is all for a good cause and to celebrate the life of one of the smartest rotorheads ever and his special 1 of 1 3-rotor. It's probably top 5 in the states if not THE best. Everyone there is going to be awesome. It's not a snobby event at all you'll see. I was reluctant to go last year but I'm really happy I did. Gordon is an awesome dude and has one of the coolest garages I have ever seen. I can guarantee fun. GUARANTEE (guarantee may or may not be honored). The event is cheap as hell, you get fed and you get to meet Ray freaking Crowe, the GOD FATHER of all OEM parts in the U.S. Plus last time I was there, tons of hot chicks came.
Kel I may be able to give you a ride but I'm leaving at the crack of dawn to help out my man. I may even go a day before the event. Let me know if you need a ride!

Lol, Jake you speak the truth. Rx7 guys are only interested in Rx7's every other car is inferior to most of them.
There is a special physiological disorder dominant in FD owners. i haven't put my finger on it yet but its there.

my car looked/looks like **** and im sure people laughed, but i could care less, i went for the meet not for the ******** that attended
and as for the rx7 guys, you have to understand, you 8 owners are not the only one that gets treated that way, theres fighting among the generations as well as fd guys fighting among themselves..however for the most part, your the only group that wont really argue back compared to everyone else
i mean, you hear someone make a comment about your car, ask them what they have, go look at it and then talk **** about theirs, your going to find something no matter whos car it is, none of them are perfect
and if they bring up the power thing..just do what you guys do on the forums...talk **** about handling
