are you talking about the whole set, rotor and housing? how about the apex seals and all teh side seals, LOL

im no go. 7 is back under surgery lol i broke my vband to the dp/turbo and still need to trouble shoot some.....

 

i guess, i just realize that rotary owners troubleshoot the car more than driving it

Guys, I have been having this issue for a while now. Only after the car has been driven for a while. I get a vibration at start off only if the whelel is turned to either side both forward and reverse. I have been to the dealership twice and they are trying to tell me its normal. in there defense though by the time the tech comes out for the test drive the car is cooled down and is not as harsh as it is when hot.

any thoughts?

 

can you please write that a bit more clearly

from what i gather, once the car is at normal operating temps, you get a shudder when entering first gear or reverse but only when the front wheels are at either lock?

if so i dont quite see how steering input can affect drivetrain control and vice versa since you guys have electronic powersteering

however, it may be your differential, either an issue with the LSD or simply tire hop, you should come to the next tuesday meet so we can hear it

rx8's have torsen units correct?

 

The wheel does not even have to be locked. slightly turned is enough to trigger it. I was thinking LSD but why only when hot? I will be out next tuesday.
