And just as you said "ment to appease a more broad amount of buyers" would basically mean that the rx8 can be defined as a sports car met to appease a more broad amount of buyers.
if everyone wants to get technical then we can. idk about you current 8 owners, but when i had my 8 my insurance listed it as a 2 door..... so its not even considered 4 doors by some standards.....

I'm not looking for a lawyer to get out of the tickets. I was tired, and desperate to get to the campsite upstate before midnight, and so I sped (which I don't normally do at night, since I have bad vision). I'm looking for a lawyer to represent me in court there, and to possibly reduce the points. It's going to be difficult for me to head up there on a weekday.

Edit - Oh yeah, Vlaze, the 84 in the 55 was before Albany. And I think the 46 in a 30 (I was driving below the speed limit the entire damn time after the first ticket) was also before Albany, I believe, but very shortly.
Well...of course they all have to be before Albany, because that's where the parkway ends I think you misread what I wrote, I stated north of highway I84 (coincidentally it matches the speed you went). That 30 zone had to be off the parkway, I know for a fact it's solid 55 zone all the way up to Albany from at least I84 anyhow, I haven't taken it south of that much more than once.

Usually when you past the exit for I84 heading north, you got a good 30 mins, usually, to speed up a bit to get away from traffic before winding down and watching out for cops. Sometimes there may be one out there before that. I travel that route usually once a month on a friday after work so it gets busy and I find myself going 70-80 to get out of the traffic before slowing down to around 65 the rest of the way. So far, 65 does ok but if you push it above that you're asking for a ticket if they catch you.

Yeah lol, I probably did! I'm not familiar with that road at all

Should I look for a lawyer in the area near where I got a ticket? I don't know how one goes about looking for a good lawyer lol..

Yes I did. Just went to court for one. I got a 90 in a 55. They offered me a plea of 65 in a 55. 2 points, and no lawyer fee. Total cost for that ticket $235. and 50 bucks for the defnsive drivers coarse to remove the points.

dude, i was thinking about it, but dont you think that there is a reason why they put it close to the engine because of the length of the plugs wires?
the longer the wire is, the less spark or the slower it will reach the sparkplugs? i don't know..
i was just thinking logically here, i meant, there must be a reason why they put it close to the engine

Omar,
http://racewaypark.com/road_course.aspx

go here and fill out the forms and fax them or email them in to ngoldman@racewaypark.com ... thats the dude who runs the track

They didn't care too much about tech inspection ... I actually had a dude who was a mechanic with racing his miata sign it right there and then

The track also fixed my need for speed for about 2 weeks too .... I guess I just got it out of my system ... on the way back, I actually drove UNDER the speed limit

Geico has it as a 4 door for me, and so did state farm before it.
I like the cheaper insurance.

Steve,

Thats what i though however Charles from BHR said thats not the case I always thought the longer the wire the more resistance because of the distance. I wanted to do this.

Yes, that's correct. The longer the wire, the more resistance. The more resistance, the more heat and the more voltage drop. When you're dealing with high power devices like spark plugs, you don't want to risk losing voltage or overheating the wiring.

^ fine then sell me yours......lol..
Nah im actually looking for a automatic 8.... but I want white.

I got news from my uncle with the Porsche that I can store my car in his garage. So nows a perfect time to start looking.

Also Steve it hit me.... you car wasnt starting because the turbo went bad....
That same thing happened to me after my turbo blew (Dave!) It kept having problems starting and kept flooding out.... benny and abdul had to come over to try and help start it.

Im sure your motor is blown.. but I think the sign of your turbo going was the smoke and it not starting
