Interesting enough Dave at KDR was telling me about how he has a FD come in with 238,000+ miles on an original engine original owner....
Burns through a gallon of coolant by the run and has and average of 75psi compression. But it runs.
Al, if i could id buy an 8 in this market asap, you need to hear about Rays alter ego Tourqey to understand.

damn that thing sounds like its just barely hanging on, had a good life though
with miles like that i would say its 110% worth doing the rebuild, give that car some fresh new life to a tired engine, especially before something gives, because its not usually pretty when it does, i know that first hand from checking out my FC's engine, i can only imagine the full carnage that occured in the rear rotor cause by one of the apex seals giving way
god blessed that FD thats for sure, if only we all could be so lucky

sorry i couldnt make it...cracked my tooth on sunday so i was at the dentist yesterday and i had to make sure tina was doin ok....from the accident her spine was shifted out of place, she has a dislocated hip and shoulder, front and rear whiplash, torn maniscus in her knee, sprained ankle (on her handicapped leg) and she is not having fun.......
its hard to tell but the left pillar is tweaked so that whole side is off and in the trunk the floor actually caved in from the pressure......she was sitting at a red light and got rear ended by a ford f-250 super duty at 25-35 mph......just in time for thanksgiving!
