I like the whole idea. I won't have $$ for any of those mods, but a demonstration of any/all of them sounds like an excellent experience.
Weather permitting, of course. The way this winter is starting, early march may be risky.

Your right Charles, I got alittle carried away with all of that and I understand what your saying. Is anyone else interested in a mass nitrous install?? Atleast anyone besides me?

I really would love to do the nitrous, but a couple of things that are holding me back.
First is that I am not so mechanically inclined, so if something goes wrong this may be a problem (it is also my daily driver).
Second, there are no performance shops that i know of in the upstate new york area. Which means I heavily rely on mazda service which is good but I am sure they will not be as helpful for something like this.
Third, I am assuming this would have to be removed for inspection? If so, how long does it take so it can pass?

I can't imagine that a Honda intake could take more than an hour.

i have 2 sets of different sized jack stands and a 1/2 inch torque wrench also got a 2 1/2 ton hydraulic jack i can bring....i have just about every size of socket as well.....i got no problems bringing this stuff to the meet where ever it may be.....clear corners i can do in 10 minutes tops so thats a nothing install....how long would a nitrous install take?

i have the rotary extreme intake with a different filter on it and i believe the guy i bought it from already drilled the tube so that shouldnt be too tough to work with....getting 5-6 cars to come wont be an issue for sure....its just weather dependant.....we just need a date and place...

like i posted earlier, i will be more than happy to provide muscle and tools. i am pretty confident in my ability to wrench on the 8 as well as civics, as i have done all the mods on my 8 as well as my 3 previous civics as well as helping my friends with their wrx's, civics, including my buddies 10 sec civic hb.
as for preloading the suspension before tighening, cant you just loosely put all the nuts and bolts in place for the suspension, then lower the car so the weight is on the wheels, then tighten everything that way? thats how i did mine, and i have had no problems.

oh i will do you shocks and springs at the same time, and might do the flywheel at work as well that way my car isnt taking up all the time. And Chrism if you could host this entire thing at your house that would be great. I too will be bring my tools from work with me as well.
