You mean shaun fauz the guy with the glasses and dark hair (blue team). Its funny because hes my rep. Thats very unlike him to be an *** to anyone. He has always been very nice and always gets stuff right the first time around... thats very unusual you him for sure. It just might have been a bad day but I would def say give him another chance if Dena isnt there. By the way I dont deal with her but she is very nice too. Im always chatting with her anytime I come in. And yeah dave's exhaust is nice... he is the reason I got mine put on. Did you happen to check out how he smoked his lights out? That shyt is hot and I hate his guts for it! But hey hes still my boy LOL

Bill Britt Mazda in Fredericksburg is good. Also Malloy Mazda in Woodbridge is really good. It's where I got my car.

I think it was like a hundred bucks and some change. I dont think it was more than 200 though. They dont charge much from what I saw but I could be mistaken on the price but I know it wasnt outrageous. Oh about the other stuff.. that should be considered in warrenty stuff. Just give a call to the service dept and ask to speak to shawn (give him another chance)... tell him Landon told you to call. He will take care of you for sure, hes a good guy.

The Mazda/Kia dealer in Woodbridge, right across from Karen Radley Acura? That dealership/service center is the worst in the region. I am happy you have had good service, but I've been in an out of that place for ten years, and its not pretty. Bill Britt in Freddy town is good, from what I hear as well. I just picked up my 07 Phantom Blue RX8 from Browns Fairfax Mazda. Not the prettiest dealership around, but they got me my car at a very fair price, so I'm not complaining. I haven't had any service yet, so I'd like to hear about Browns in Alexandria and the Arlington Mazda delaership (can't remember the name...) before I have to go in!

I too can not report anything positive about the Malloy in woodbridge. Techs could not figure out what was wrong with my car... thats why i take it to the dealer, they are SUPPOSe to be subject matter EXPERTS.

I'm sorry that other people had a problem with them. I really liked Malloy because when I went to test drive the car I wasn't going to buy it that day because I didn't have the money, yet (I would have had the money the week after). I talked to the sales manager about coming back for it and he was like "Nah, let's get you in this car today." I put 500 dollars down and I was off. Everytime I take it there for a recall or anything they're really fast with my car and they have two techs there that love the rotaries and they're pretty much the only two that work on the RX-8, so I trust them. Bill Britt is really awesome, except sometimes their parts department really get on my nerves. They just act like dicks all the time.

I've been happy with Rosenthal Mazda-Nissan at Tyson's Corner.

Just in for free stuff so far - oil changes, 4602f, and a state inspection. But they've been courteous and prompt. No problems.

Dealt with Malloy once, because I had to with my 6. The fan switch went out (before the recall) and they were the closest dealer. They were all right, but I wasn't impressed. I live in Woodbridge and actually bought my 8 (and my wife's Tribute) at Brown in Fairfax. I've been to their service dept once and they were pretty good. I did just get an oil change though, so nothing major. My wife had a shimmy when she applied the brakes and went in and the rep told her that one of the rotors needed to be turned, but before she could even say no, she expected it to be replaced, he told her that they had already replaced it with a new one. Problem fixed. She was very pleased.

I've dealt with Bill Britt in Frednecksburg for many years. They always treated my right. I didn't go back to them for my 8 because the sales guys I had dealt with before had all left.

As to Rosenthal, they have nothing but good reviews here on the board. This is the first time I've heard anyone say anything even remotely negative about them.

Whitten Brothers Mazda in Midlothian, VA -im not to happy with them at the moment. I bought my 8 used and took it to them for its first oil change and a vol recall for the emissions. I own a 2004. First they didn't explain anything that was done to the car regarding the recall and couldn't answer my questions about it. When me and my wife went to pick the car up that night I found it in the back lot parked all the way up on the curb, I have the aero package and it was in the dirt scraping the bottom, wtf!! Also, its been way over a month since the oil change and i haven't had to add a drop of oil to my engine, the dipstick show's its full, i think they over filled it?

i use rosenthal arlington all the time, deal w/ Dena and Shaun all the time too, lol

maybe it's an attitude problem, usually i find if you treat them nicely, they'll treat you nicely, and vice versa.
