Hopefully someone will break it to Dave before 8/28 that the dyno is NOT at KDR... I see him Wednesday... would rather not have to be the one to do so...

I'm heading back Wednesday afternoon.... hopefully to pick up my 8. I could actually use a ride if you're interested on such short notice.

I'm sure I'll be back up there before too long. Hard to imagine we're gonna be able to get away with a base tune with no additional tweaking.

With that said, my poor 8 was all down in the dumps yesterday. Airbox pulled, battery pulled, upper intake yanked... front bumper set aside (sigh). It did have a intercooler and my second oil filter installed though!

We got set back two days because of $2 gasket. Hopefully it arrives today !!!

Yeah I feel your pain... my car was at his shop for like 2 months because of trying to get the engine and new turbo there. The gasket is for? I think I had to get one made when I originally installed my turbo.

If you don't get a dyno spot maybe my tune will work for yours since I have a AT too.

Jeff is gonna take care of me........Or I'm gonna sick Jedi on him when he's back on the left coast!

The missing gasket was for the turbine and manifold. After a day of searching various sources, and it looking like we'd have to wait two weeks, he found someone who had a couple they could overnight... unfortunately overnight ended up being two days. Hopefully he's got the exhaust manifold pulled now and is finishing up.

He had to fabricate a couple other pieces for me... had a couple missing / awry pipes, a vacuum hose, and the oil inlet on the turbo too.

It is just a standard T25 gasket. You can get them just about anywhere.
I have 12 of them sitting in my parts bag.

Dave thought the same thing but apparently it's a T25 XYZ-D (gibberish) or some such...

Nope. It is, in fact, just a regular T25.
