Mazda Drivers / Women With Wankels II
Registration opens in a few days for the Mazda Drivers, LLC high-speed driver's education track event at VIRginia International Raceway the weekend of June 18th-19th on the longest road racing circuit in the country, VIR's Grand East circuit.
This event will also mark the 3rd Anniversary of the Rotary Reunion, which brings Mazda die-hard road racing/rotary enthusiasts from as far away as New England, many Southeastern states (the Carolinas, Florida and Georgia), the mid-west, and from as far west as Texas, as well. As of this writing, there may be ten spaces remaining for the March Mazda Drivers event, which takes place on the full course at VIR the weekend of March 26th-27th.
We will also host the Second Annual celebration of "Women With Wankels" at the VIR summer event, and encourage any and all women who own rotary-powered vehicles to attend the function. There will be much at stake for the winner of our drawing from the group of "WWW" honorees who take the time to attend the event, and get recognition from their fellow Mazdaphiles in acknowledgement of their love and appreciation of our favorite cars. Needless to say, attendance is required to be eligible for consideration. Last year's "Women With Wankels" winner Karen Elwell will be participating in the track event courtesy of Mazda Drivers, LLC as her ($300) award from that function. This year's award will be better.
