Make the Meet in Boston proper and I am down. Halfway between North Shore and South Shore.

I have a VR Rex and saw another VR rex on Rt 2 heading into Alewife garage, the bugger even parked right next to me in the garage.

If you spot a VR Rex in Chelsea... that's me, only one I have seen there.

So I am leaving the Alewife garage and as I turn the corner... BOOM my mirror image was facing me. We ended up having a no words and all awesome hand gesture conversation. I Snapped her pic.

just put some pilot super sports on it and going up to vt this weekend, I'm excited!

Hrmmm.. I wonder if you are the other RX8 I see around that area. It's part of my commute, so I am out there daily. Probably. LOL. Gonna have to find all the MA RX8 drivers so we can have a proper meet.

I'm surprised no one has seen my white one around..I live right next to the Alewife area as well in Waltham.. Granted...I rarely drive her and drive my 1996 Red Miata usually... but I do drive the white one from time to time.

Nope have not seen a white one. Yer probably at home when I am driving out of alewife (after 6pm).

OOOOOHHHHHHHH.... IDEA! We should set up a Meet somewhere near Alewife. Get the Boston Metro Area club going.

I'm from Revere here. I've never seen your VR around Chelsea, Lancifer. The only RX-8 I've seen in Chelsea is a WB that belongs to a cop. I actually talked to him in the Market Basket parking lot...

I have only had this one for a few weeks. Had done some work to it. Running cherry now. Loving the drive so far. Opened it up on the highway home tonight, quite the rush. Handles so well... sure I'll get beaten on the straight away if the other driver is good, but give me turns baby!

BTW... I loathe Market Basket, but hell if we can get a meet going that whole area is prime for parking a ton of cars.

Well, I don't hang out in MB's parking lot...LOL. I just happened to run into the other car and decided to talk to its owner. That's when I found out he's a cop.

There are quite a few of us RX-8 owners around the Boston area. We should have another meet.

There definitely are quite a few of us around the area. Spotted a green 8 while I was getting some air at Hess in Taunton this morning. Also spotted an 8 (possibly the same one) driving by the graveyard / dump this afternoon.

Why don't we just all meet up at the Gillette stadium for the Foxboro car show. It's every other Thursday and so far it's only two of us that go.

What time does it start? I work til 6pm. LOL. If it is something that runs at that time I am down. We could always do a Saturday once a month meet so we can get a lot to ourselves for the most part. Still relatively new to the area, but Boston Metro west areas are good spots with open roads.

I noticed a lot of car shows happening in RI on the weekends... one this Sunday is in Natick. Unfortunately my brother-in-laws going away party is this Sunday. HEY EVERYONE MEET AT MY HOUSE! LOL. My Saturday is open if we can get an impromptu meet. Or lets get serious and make an MA thread for a meet. Make our own MA club etc... haven't found any active RX-8 clubs in MA.

I found the car show I think. It's the one hosted by Bass Pro Shops in Foxboro right? If so the next one is next Thursday. Starts at 4:30pm... I would think that my getting there around 8 may be too late to get a good spot next to the other MA 8's. :-(. But of course I am down for a MA 8 meet on the weekends.

There is an active club at mazdas247.com called NEPOC (New England Protege Owners Club) that I hang out with all the time. Great people, good times, just get together hang out and talk about cars. Haven't really seen a serious RX-8 group put together in this area though..but I'd be interested. Not going to lie though, I hardly drive mine. She's pretty much a dedicated weekend race car, thus why I bought the Miata.

don't be fooled by the name NEPOC, there's only a few proteges left at this point. It's about 40% 8s (maybe more).

lol nice. We should maybe all shoot for next Sunday? Again, don't change schedules on my accord, I'm used to having races while everyone else can go play..lol. But next Sunday works for me. Maybe a nice cruise during the day through Boston and then food somewhere with a decent sized lot? I usually like low key meets like that.
