Ha I figured out how to get gas money and food money. I am going to take my old jetta to a scrap yard up here that pays people $250 for junk cars, that should be enough I hope.

Its the flat black one on myspace. Plus we blew the motor that we just put in it lol stupid gf's dad thought it was ok to not get a new timing belt tensioner so the timing belt fell off while we were driving, and of course VW's have interference heads so valves hitting pistons dont leave good motors. Its just not worth my time anymore.

Hey Mark.. I asked Sean about this but well yeah he's a slacker at times (haha sorry man had to say it lol). Do you know if there are any local papers in Brighton? Figure some free press for his fathers shop is always a good thing. If it was in my area I'd know what papers to contact but alas I'm to far away.

Tonight if my brain isnt to fried (like it is now ugh!) I'll look into a Charity to donate to once we hit the recoup status. I told Sean there that I'd like it to goto a charity that deals with helping familys who lost loved ones in Iraq/Afganistan. My brother was ova there for a year and a half so be nice to tell him we helped out his brethrens families.

Wish I had more money 'cause I'd make up a banner but alas I can't.. man I hate this coming up with more ideas but no money or time to pull them off UGH!...lol

Lastly, the house is being cleaned and its a definate go ahead. Will it be ready for the weekend I dunno. So keep your fingers crossed. Gonna ask the GF tonight if things do infact fall through with getting it ready if a person or two (Ray/Nick) can crash at our place now. No offence the rest of you guys, but you all scare me

Spent the last half of the day down at the house cleaning with the GF. Swear she goes nuts with cleaning. Looks like things could be all set up for the weekend. We are looking for a futon or atleast a couch so those who come over will have a place to sit.

Again don't worry we'll have enough space's, not everyone will be staying the entire time, we'll have some people just stopping by also. I counted out atleast 45 space's and I was being real generous with spacing.

So Ray you still going up to ME to do that guys Turbo install?

Varney, PM me your cell and let me know what your plans are for the weekend.

Let her sleep in the car haha..

Ok seems there are a few caravans forming up on Rx7club and from NEPOC. One wishes to get one going outa Worcester and the other from the Arsnel Mall(sp?).

Sean question does your father have any tables readily avialable? Just occured to me we are gonna need something to put the food on yanno lol. I'm looking into borrowing a cooler but I'm thinking a trash barrel with a trash bag lining it with a TON of ice will do nicely to hold the drinks. Also is the shop always closed on Sundays? If so that just opened us a whole ton of space

Here's what is going on with my visit;

There were a few possible installs that I was going to do that seem to have been postponed. That is acceptable and these things happen sometimes. As such, I am already looking at booking another trip out east to make a return trip and give you guys your money's worth in terms of both parts and service. By scheduling a return trip I will have the time for me to load my car up with the parts you guys will have ordered and pack my trunk full of the tools I use to get the installs done. No problem there.

For now, I will be bringing to this meet a new BHR/SPEC Stage 2+ clutch kit and a new BHR/SPEC flywheel. I will bring an ACT pressure plate so you can compare the difference in weights between a steel pressure plate and aluminum pressure plate. I will also be bringing along a new reinforced clutch bracket assembly, also for your perusal.

I will also be taking orders for any parts I can get for you and you can either pay for them when they ship out of pay for them on the spot. Your call. I can take credit cards on the spot, too.

Pretty much, as is typical with BHR, if you want it I can get it and we can discuss it at the meet.

Ray

Well, it's looking like I won't be able to make this meet. Got a new set of tires coming in this week and my mech has offered to pull the calipers and rotor hubs at the end of his workday Saturday so I can take them home and paint them. Leaving them off Sat & Sun to dry completely then re-installing them Monday morning.

Sucks that I'll miss this, but getting my wheels back on with new rubber and freshly painted cals & hubs will be farkin sweet.
