hey andrew, what's up with that install meet? decide the date yet?

 

OK so here's the deal!

This Saturday (June 20) everyone is invited to hang out and do some wrenching/installing/drinking/etc. This will be in front of my parent's place in Carle Place in Nassau County, NOT my place out east, and they have kinda bitchy neighbors, so please be respectful of that. We'll do some barbequeing as well, and I declare it a BYOB function heh... If you'll be coming, just PM me and I'll shoot you the address, they might not want me posting that on a public forum.

I'll be doing a LOT of stuff, and will be starting really early in the morning (~8AM) and will work as late as it takes to finish everything, probably well into the night.

To do:
1) Install new shocks and springs all around
2) Drill out holes in the frame above the rear shock towers and install remote adjuster cables with trunk access
3) flush brake fluid and bleed brakes
4) install new high beam and parking light bulbs
5) install new BHR clutch pedal assembly. I really have no idea how to do this lol
6) Remove front seat and fix heater

So - we'll have all the tools out so if you have some small-medium projects to work on we can all help out. To be honest, I would appreciate if people come and help ME out, I've never done this type of suspension stuff before, though I have done plenty of reading about it. I'll have a jack there, but my jack stands will be in use for my car. I will have all basic hand tools that we might need; no air tools though.

Hey I know it's the same day but that's really the only weekend that works for me and I really need to get it done. Plenty of more summer events to go to.....

elysium19 do you have a spring press? your going to need some why to push the springs down and hold the load. OOOO never mine my bad. your putting in new springs on new sturts lol
