Hey guys I'm on Long Island Too I would love to meet up the next time you guys do. I've been on the board since 2004 just didn't look around to meet members because all I did was work! Now I wouldn't mine sharing my experiences and learn from others. I just installed the BHR flywheel and complete clutch kit and I'm in love!

Nice night up at Bald Hill last night. Checked out Ti Carbon's new wheels and turbo. Nice setup and good to see ya again. We were only 8's. Left a little after 8PM.

I was around the shirley area today and spotted a parked sliver / grey 8 w/ a puertorican flag hangin' on the rear view.

there was also a red 350z in the driveway.

nah i drive a WB 8 with smoked taillights. ive seen ur car twice. i think both times were on sunrise hwy. and i think one time on the service road of sunrise. u were going across it. the 1st time i saw u on sunrise i think u were coming back from the NYRA bear mountain meet.

long islanders, i need some advice with my car. my clutch just gave out.. and i only have like 22000 miles on her. i need to take it in to get the clutch replaced. will the cost of repair be under warranty? how much should i be expecting to pay if it's not covered?

I don't think its covered. But I know another member said he asked his dealership how much they would charge him for a new oem clutch and install and they said 1200.

 

damn that's ridiculous... maybe i'll just take it to a body shop or smth. you think it'll be cheaper if i bought my own clutch set?

 

Sl8 ghost the price that your being quoted you can go and get a performance clutch and flywheel and have someone at a local repair shop instal it. at might come to the same price if you can get a good deal on the parts and you know someone that works on cars.
