UMM... no, I drive a 3000GT and I was going to stop by after I got out of school, however class was short and I didn't bother hanging around until 9- if you read a few posts above you'll notice i put my 8 away for the winter (like I do every year). No ones making a joke about you, or at least I wasn't trying too.

Twas just hit and run'd today. Mourn me my brothers.

Damage wasn't too severe, front left corner was clipped. Guy bolted, I tried to pursue to get a full plate read but only got a partial, luck did not go my way in terms of the chase. Guy was a complete maniac. People are telling me I was lucky I did not catch up to him because I was liable to get shot. Ah well.

Oh and we're thinking of a road and/or ferry trip to Foxwoods ~Dec. 20th, how does that sound?

 

Eastbound on 25A at the intersection of Route 106. He was tailgating me for a mile, then as we approached the intersection, which was all red lights, he went into the left turn lane, then used it to attempt to pass me and cut me off. He was in a big SUV, like an Escalade, and clipped my corner with his corner. After my honking, he went back in to the left turn lane and made an illegal U-Turn and bolted. Then took a right at the next light and went down a local road, speeding on this twisty narrow single lane road, passing people illegally to get away.



I failed to get close enough to read his plate because of mistakes on my part. My car isn't running properly because I'm still having trouble with my new ignition upgrade, so if I floor it (which I kept trying to do because I was flustered) then it misfires at 10psi, making no power. So I was put to shame by a big clunky SUV, which is embarassing, especially when the car could put out so much power had I taken care of this problem by now.

Guess no point in continuuing to beat myself up about it though. I did get a partial plate #, first three letters. Combined with the color and description, MAYBE they'll get the guy. But the way he was driving, it wouldn't surprise me if it was a stolen vehicle.

 

I never understood why everyone wants to test this car. There's a lot of losers around aiming to f your car up these days. Glad it wasn't worse though.

 

^Not sure what you mean by wanting to test the car. Traffic was pretty heavy and when the incident actually took place, it was red lights and everyone was coming to a stop. I just think the guy was a lunatic, or drugged up.
