Yeah I’m home! Wee Hey photo chick ... I’ll be in NYC later today at around 5 ...home by 7 If had more time id take you to east Harlem, the NW side of Columbia university, long island city, governors island, statue of liberty park (by the names), china town's SE section, Little Italy, Times square at 730 ish (time is important) -- bring an orange 86 filter, a neutral blue, at least 3 different polarizer’s, a flash with a bounce card, and a light meter as reflected light is a bitch near Columbia.
You will need a 200mm for Governers Island... but not for anything else. Wide angle is needed for most shots. If you have a HD lens -- you’re all set for 99% of all the pics.
Have fun shooting and make sure you pay attention to shutter speed as the light reflected on the glass buildings makes auto adjustments pretty much useless.

i just finished breakfast and i have a friend taking a train here (she goes to CIA), so she's gonna take me to the main points, and then i'll have a list of the spots that you and noodle mentioned
any ideas for a nice place to eat lunch/dinner? in the mood for a ritzy place and common 'you have to try it' local spots. just looked out and saw the cross streets of the hotel, it's on north end and veset overlooking the hudson river and the sky line...or is it long island..or staten island?

Aright I just put a turbo in. Anyone know the best place to get my car tuned? I want someone who has experience with turbo RX-8's. I don't mind having to drive a couple hundred miles to get the best tuning either. I thought I remember some great tuner being in pennslyvania? Or maybe I'm remembering wrong.

^ not sure what everyone is doin, but Sundays are popular @ OBI. There are all types of realy nice custom cars that show up and it gives you somethin to do for a couple hours before goin to the beach, lol.
