Nope.. still have the 8 and the MX5. It was definitely a 'top down' day today though. I was just coming back from a Hamptons drive through. Was nice today.

Whats up fellas? how did the mini meet go last week at D&B. just got back from vacation.

 

it was sweet. better showing than many of the other meets ive been to.

 

Im not going to be at the Long island meet this week. My car needs a new heart. Yup my motor went Boom. So im not sure if im going to rebuild it, take off my turbo kit and get a new motor from mazda (car is still covered) or do a FD swap.. I gotta make some calls, and talk to pettie racing... If i take of the tubro i still need a few stock parts like oilpan,header,airbox. So my car will be MIA for a bit...I"ll update as more info comes in.

hey ti.. i have a stock cat and exhaust if you need to borrow it ... as for header... sure if racing beat header comes out. i have a vfad to laying around... no air box though...

 

Yeah I've got the stock cat if you need it and a stock intake. Let me know if I can help you out at all.

Hey D. I have a stock exhaust manifold you can keep, as I have 3 laying around, 1 brand new rx8 rotor, 1 stock cat to use until november. Jim knows why

but yeah, whatever dude, we all rotor heads that are willing to lend a hand or two.

NO one happens to have a stock oil pan? Im going to be calling Autotech motorsports about a 13brew swap Tuesday. I spoke to Cam from petti racing and if i get a new motor from mazda i'll be shiping him my car for some motorwork

 

I have:
intake box, tray, tubing
header
cat
stock catback
air pump
injectors
misc other stuff

My turbo kit doesn't use any of those parts and I have most of it just sitting in the hatch of my other car rotting. There is a slight chance one or 2 pieces of something would be down at JPR imports - like my motor mounts - but I'll be down there 9/7 for a bbq so I could pick it up if we can find it.

As for a stock oil pan, I don't know anyone else running a Greddy pan. You could try someone like mazdamaniac who probably has most of 3 engines in his garage. Does Ted us the stock oil pan?
