that hooters on 454 thats in islandia/central islip right? on the west bound side of the LIE? If thats the one its down the road from my gf i could attend those from time to time...

Anyone meetin up tonight at exit 53 on the LIE where ssspeedfreak mentioned? If so post a quick reply. We wouldn't want our fellow 8 owners to show up for no reason.

how about D&B in islandia on Wes or Th.. That gives people a changes to hit up the NJ or bald hill meet on Tues and this one.. Or if they miss one

Roosevelt raceway is kinda far for me. But I think im the furthest of the li 8's.

 

The D&B Ti mentioned is actually 2 blocks from my gf's house, lol. So that spot would be great too for me. Any other location I have no clue to be honest...Im in queens. i usually goto the Tuesday night meets in E. Rutherford, NJ on route 17. But since cash flow is a lil rough right now I may not be attending those meets. But meets close to my gf would be cool when Im around. Hey I guess more of a reason to drive to LI during rush hour, lol

 

But I agree a centralized meet on a desginated day makes sense that way it becomes custom and grows over time. The NJ meet usually averages between 10-15 cars any given Tuesday.

The only criterias for picking a location is ease of getting into parking lot due to inclues speed bumps etc and size of parking lot. Finally a place where we won't be bothered or permission from the establishment to be there.

Before we moved to Starbucks (NJ Tuesday nights) we were at Hulahaans and had permission from management to be there. This avoids issues etc.

 

i voted for hooters because i love to drive(and its the majority so far) =p. gas money will always be an issue but it wont keep me from driving.

454 hooters ? i think that parking lot is small

 

I don't know the size of the parking lot at Hooters but I know for a fact the parking @ D&B in Islandia can accomodate.

 

I think he should have a huge meet again in D&B on 110, like we did in November....

The islandia D and busters has less issues than the one on 110 -- The Nov meet --- yeah... people burnign out everywhere.... a group of guys lookign to steel **** from peoples cars that were beet up by the nissan guys after one of them tried to ****** n grab a sub box... 3 car accidents... more burnign out.. and young drunken idiots.... Lets not for get the accidents and streets covered in glass when we left...

OK i don't want to be a dick about this but this will go on for ever. We'll never get everyone to pick just one place, So at around 8-830PM i'll be at D&B in islandia on Wes of next week.. Thats 8/13 I'll stay till 930 10pm to wait for people to show up if no ones there by 10 im out. An i'll do this every week
