I know you CT guys are all aware of auto X in Hartford. So now we have drifting in the same parking lot.
Here are the dates and details-
April 28 May 12 June 16 July 7/15 August 11/18 September 22 October 13/27
These are all Saturday Events from around 9am-6 pm
Limit will be about 30 drivers..
Price will be $85. Each driver is allowed 2 crew members.
No Spectators though ya can watch the event behind the fences.

its mainly for fun and to learn some skills. This is still new maybe there'll be some judging as more people gain interest.

I would be interested in trying it. Especially if its noob friendly. Never drifted to that extent before. However I work on Saturdays till noon. If I got there at about 12:30 would it be too late to get involved?

yeah its great for beginners and i know theres a drivers meeting that you must attend ill get the details soon. so far i seen one red mazda rx8 drive the course. well i hope to be able to attend auto X and drifting events to keep da reckessness off da streets

i was here yesterday. 5/12. was a lot of fun. was drivin down 91 and saw it on the side so decided to stop. ended up going home and wiping rubber off my face.

lol nice. im always workin but ive stopped by for a few in the morning. i came from the nissan 240sx scene so i like drifting and i plan to drift my rx8 here and there.

i want to learn to drift but i dont know where to do it here in mass. i've found a couple big parking lots and will try a drift on the way home from work or somethin but i cant spend any amount of time doing it.

keep it off the streets. you'll only get yourself into some trouble eventually. theres drift faction in lebanon valley new york and now we have lock city in hartford ct great for beginners. im tryna get a bunch of rx8s to start meets and cruises to these drift events.

owner of da parking lot said there were causing damage to the pavement. so as of now there looking for a new lot.

This was the third and last lock city event held this year at Limerock Park autoX A & B courses. 2013 drifting at limerock looks promising so lets keep are hopes up

damn sorry at godesshunter I've been a bit busy working 7 days a wk but now I've slowed down and back on the forum.
I'll try my best in 2013 to get CT/MA rx8 more involved in meets/drift events. im tired of being the only rx8 hanging with all my 240sx friends.
