JMU Alum: Do you drive a Green RX8?

This post is to the guy driving on the Dulles Toll Road today East bound around 5:20 pm. You have a dark green rx8 complemented nicely by some black aftermarket rims...

With this in mind, i ask the following with all due respect, PLEASE do the following:

1. Wash your car, i've seen cleaner ford pintos on the road, have a little pride you're driving a performance sports car.
2. For gods sake, FIX YOUR RIGHT TAIL LIGHT, its FULL of water!!!
3. (This is just a personal pet peeve) "could do without the bright purple jmu alum licence plate frame."

No offense, but your ride could look really sweet with a little TLC, don't ruin it for the rest of us! When people see my car i don't want them to think of your car and say"yeah thats nice FOR AN RX8." You obviously cared about the car at one point to invest in the aftermarket rims...If i were thinking about buying an RX8 and saw your car on the road i'd would immediately start considering something else.

Don't flame me here guys, but good lord, this car looked like a dog that had been left out in the yard to fend for itself FOR A MONTH.

CAN I GET AN AMEN!

to be specific....inside the beltway on the access road between the beltway and 66 Eastbound...about 5:20...i'm sorry i know a lot of people see that i've only made one post...i'm not a hater, i think the rx8 is one of the top performers out there otherwise i wouldn't have bought one...i'm just a long time reader first time poster...

i'll say this...you don't see people with nice cars like ours out there with a taillight full of rain water and condensation, along with a finish that looks like you've never washed the car.

just wash the damn car. fix the damn tail light.

if you want to own a car that doesn't require care...buy yourself a Pontiac G6.

and thank you for the amen bruthas.

Dude, I understand that the car looked bad- but come on, give the guy a break. My nordic green currently looks like it has been dusted with yellow powder because of the pollen, and while normally I'd have washed it within about 5 seconds, I've got an 8month old that doesn't really allow me time to do much of anything. And I sure as hell am not taking it through a car wash. So, it's stuck looking like crap until I can get out the zaino, give the kid to my husband for a couple hours, and really go to town.

And no, this was not me, but I WAS on 66 near manassas last weekend, so if anyone saw a quasi-yellow 8 then, that WAS me.

And yeah, he DOES need to get rid of the purple license plate frame. My sympathy ends there. Ugh.

a lot of us work long hours and have busy lives. and a lot of us have clean rx8s.

it takes about 20 minutes to rinse pollen off the car. Plus (as im sure you know) once you've Zaino's it comes back even with a quick wash. Im not flaming of course, and TOTALLY respect anyone who cares for their kid over a material object.

But i don't give 'busyness' an excuse to ride in a dirty car. Thats like saying there's no time for laundry.

Lol! I'd hate for you to see my laundry hamper right now. Because we barely have time for that either!

Tried the hosing- pollen doesn't rinse off the car. It made it better, but it didn't take it of. It's going to have to be physically wiped off. I'm going to have to break out all the cleaning supplies soon.

It's my own fault- didn't put it in the garage one night, and now it's covered. It is, however, going to have to wait.

At least I don't have any ugly purple license plate frames :D
