MD Help Needed in Baltimore/White Marsh Area

Hello everyone,

Putting out a call for help with my 2004 RX-8. The digital display for the radio & AC systems is no longer working, but I think it's due to a loose connection somewhere in the dash. The reason I say this is that the display was replaced under warranty just back in 2010 and that in colder weather, it works fine. When the car heats up, or in our recent 100 degree temps, is when it seems to stop functioning.

Also, when the temps are high, I loose all functionality with the stereo and AC controls.

Is there anyone who knows how to safely remove the panel and check the wiring/connections. I called my local dealer and he said that they will just replace the unit...for a pretty hefty cost! I'd like to know that it's not a loose connection before paying for a whole new display/control unit.

Willing to pay for time and effort...Thanks!!
