anyone know how to install coilovers, lower the car, do camber, toe, and caster? I've never installed any on any car, but i've read a lot on it in the previous weeks. Anyone down to help? i've got the place with tools and i'd even throw in a 30 for ya
I'd also like to know if there are any shops in the area in case i find no one that can do the install (with me helping of course) that you guys would trust doing this install/aligning/etc? i'm new to the area so I don't know which ones are good and which aren't. I've taken a look around and called. East Coast Customz has done an rx8 that i've seen in the photos from the meet in the comment at the top of this page. they quoted me at $560 out the door for labor and alignment. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks,
Dave

Be sure that the height is adjusted from the bottom not the spring perch. All you are doing is compressing the spring creating preload, if you do it from the perch which is wrong. Ride height adjustments are made from the bottom turning. Make sure that is put across if anyone is doing it for you.

i've been talkin to paimon who is a guy on this site who lives up near my hometown where i'll be picking up the car and so far he's good to go with helping me install the coilovers at his house and even recommended a shop to get aligned at. If something happens and I end up having to bring my coilovers and new wheels with me i'll definitely be getting ahold of you Rudi.
Thanks TrevorsTII i'll keep that in mind. i'll let you guys know how things work out.
Thanks guys,
-Dave
