Hey guys I just moved to Hampton from Germany and finally got my car back yesterday! I live about 5 mins from Langley AFB, I'm still learning the area so I don't really know how close I am to anything. I'm really interested in getting into autocross, is there anything like that close to here?

Langley speedway has a Wednesday night event called Wacky Wednesday with Time Attack, One on One, Drag and other competitions. They haven't started yet but will soon! I'll be out there in my RX-8 as well. Check it out at www.langley-speedway.com/wacky_wednesday.html

 

I don't know if NASA still runs autocrosses out at Langley, but Tidewater Sports Car Club does them on the other side of the water (Virginia Beach/Norfolk). Not sure of the locations yet for this year. I keep hoping they'll get Little Creek Amphib Base's tarmac back.

Hello bro/sis, I would like to know if anyone on here would be interested in a meetup this friday(tomorrow) at Freedom Car Wash in Virginia Beach, across the street from HALL MAZDA 4372 Holland Rd Virginia Beach, VA 23452. If the weather is permits us lets chill, I would like to join or even start a brotherhood/rx8 club.
I will be there for sure, in the parking lot at 8:30pm 2/3/2012. Anyone interested?

If you want a set I have a set that I only put about 200 miles on them. They are sitting on a stock set of shocks with 17k on them. Let me know.

I also have the same TSW wheels on my 8.
