Front License Plate?
Hey guys, how are Boston/New England cops when it comes to not having front license plate? I searched the forums, only found a bunch of garden state threads...

Is it worth a ticket? You have to ask yourself. In NY they will pull you over and then you risk getting other tickets if you are in violation. ie: window tint, clear corners, exhaust etc.

Mass sucks regarding it. Just get the EVO plate holder.
(Don't get me started on cops running the 'Thin Blue Line' front plates with just a red plate in the rear).

I run without front plates. since sept make sure you rub your front plate on some hard gravel and dirt and say it fell off the scratches and dirt make your storey much more beleivable. also make sure you keep it in your trunk. Saying you just havent had time yet since its cold.

Been "frontless" for over a year in MA. Mostly highway driving. When I monitor the cars during the commute, I see loads of legacy frontless "green" MA plates and loads of frontless out of states.
It seems, so far, that I'm just lost in the crowd of other frontless cars.
Oranje,
who'll likely get stopped tomorrow

6 years driving in MA without a front plate. I just like them much.
You will need it when you go in for inspection....then go home and pull it off until next year!
I do keep it in the trunk just in case I have a cop give me a hard time.

Been running in NH without a front plate on my Miata for 4 years now. Never put on the front plate on my 8. Day after I bought the 8, I took off the plate holder as I'll take the chance. So I drive both my Mazda's without a front plate (which IS required in NH). KNOCKS ON WOOD HERE :D

Jeez, only $54? Mere pennies... Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of cash laying around to burn on parking tickets and license plate citations...
I'll risk leaving it off, but I'm going to have to come up with a good excuse. I'll probably keep it in the glove compartment.
What's the EVO plate holder?
Also, what's a good one liner I can run by a cop who asks why I don't have it on?
Thanks for the help y'all.
