Car went to the dealer today for my "ticking" problem and hard starting when hot. Kane (the tech guy) seems to think my engine is plenty strong and its not a compression issue, but Ill know more details Monday. They couldnt get to my car today.

Thanks to L337fpc and Stinksauce for there help and insight last Friday. I just ordered some Idemitsu Premix and I'm shopping around for an oil catch can. Im also looking into the BHR ignition kit, but I will have to save up some money for that one.. again thanks guys, very informative night.

So my ticking was the SSV, replaced it but Im still having hard start problems when warm. Im looking into the new starter motor now, trying to determine if I have it or not..

Yea he was pretty helpful, but Im still kinda pissed that its still hard starting when hot. He assured me I didnt need a compression test since he thought the motor was strong. I hope he didnt just say that cuz he doesnt want to go through with the test, but for some reason I chose to believe him.

Francesco, do you know what a battery should be cranking at? Im trying to rule things out.. it seems my battery is cranking at about 390. Is that a good number? Could my battery be weak?

Listening? Im not really sure, I would agree though that it feels strong. No power or other issues. Just ignition it seems.
