feeler-meet, drive, bbq, party,

so last night i spent about five hours cutting my grass(little over two acers). i was thinking (if theres enough interest ) hosting a meet/bbq/party. i live in the country and there are some great back roads to drive. i have plenty of parking and love cooking on the grill. we could probably do some modding if its not too big of a project. i should also state that i like to throw back beers and have a beermeiser. if anyone wanted to people are more than welcome to camp in my yard. i have a tent or two or bring your own.

just a thought i had. lmk what you guys think. we usually set up a volley ball net too

How close are you to Pocono Raceway? Just up there last Sat for the ARCA race. Given free tickets. First NASCAR event I've ever been to. Craziness, but the cars look to much the same for my taste. Glad I went , but I'll stick to Grand Am racing. But FREE is always good !! Nice track btw.

Hmm... My local autox club is having a track day at Pocono at the end of August. I had initially shot the idea down because of distance and driving time. (almost 4 hours for me) but I may reconsider if you end up having something around the same time frame and expect a decent turn out.

Not from Fort Meade!

I live ~30 min south of 200, and just did the drive to BWI today in a hair under 3 hours, WITHOUT crazy speeds. Kept it to 10-over. The map tools greatly overestimate the times.

In general, I'm in. Dates may interfere, as I have a generally busy summer, but if the dates are clear, it's an easy yes.

Its the one up near Jim Thorpe. I have been before but its pretty lame in the summer. That weekend is a dam release date so it should be better.

sorry I was just going by what google said. That is still quite a drive so I want to know what the turnout is going to be like before I commit.

21st could be tough for me. If that ends up that date I'll see what I can do to free up my schedule.
