Quaker isn't that great and its expensive... lets go to a local style place, not a chain.

And. . . I'm confused. . . who is putting this on? Is there going to be a cruise or not? Car Show? Prizes? . . . I'm confused.

Anyone need any OEM Parts?

That would be perfect for me. I'm just not a big Quaker steak fan. Don't call me a douche.

So what's going on. We can pick a different place to eat each month, doesn't have to be the same everytime, and then talk, cruise etc....

I'll be up for a meet if there is still interest.
R3_Fury doesn't appear to be interested in planning a meet anymore, maybe c_smoker will (sorry Brian... that is going to stick for awhile)

Thanks Jon, I really feel the love

Synthetic, I definitely think we should change up the location each month so we don't get tired of eating/meeting at the same place. I'm open for suggestions for places to meet over in PA as I don't know that area well enough to make a claim as to what is good and what is not.

I know it was suggested that we meet up on the 15th, and if you guys still want to run with that, that is fine. Only downside (for me anyway) is that I can't make it as I have a 2 day autocross out in Toledo that weekend. This will probably make R3_Fury happy.

I agree, eating at the same place over and over would get pretty tiresome, and right now at the meets we go to each state/person gets to pick a place/time each month. If it goes in PA, there is a shoguns Hibachi Restaurant around monroeville which I heard is supposed to be good, but don't know. Maybe b-eight would know since he lives around there. If it ever comes over by me, the beer would be on me after we eat, and cruise.

We need to get back on track so we can meet up. Maybe clean the thread a little, since people that would wanna meet might not seeing that a fight is going on.

We could do that as a local meet with the few 8's around here, unless everyone else wants to do it, or when it's our time to pick. First thing first, we need to get everything back on track.

Cleaned it up- I think people are reading too much into posts and that's what's setting people off. Hope you guys get this figured out and have a great meet-up- sounds like it could be fun.

so to recapture my thread....i will once again try to arrange a so called "event".....this time I will be very specific for the mentally challenged...this will NOT be a meet-up or cruise...it will be a "drive" on public roads open to anyone who happens to be there, SO only a very loose agenda will be in play....I do this super drive twice a year and am simply asking if anyone wants to come along....I will set a date, time, and meeting place....the drive is about 250-300 miles round trip and ends in Marietta, OH...routes taken are 164,9,148, and 26....all are in south eastern OH.....this will be a full day trip taking around a total of 8 hours.....4-5 hours of which are the actual drive, the rest is the jouney home....when i do the drive i only do it going south, i then take the interstate home.....you obviously can take any way home your heart, map, or GPS desires......................SO, if you'd like to take one hell of a drive, let me know and I will compile a list and set a date.......IF you want your hand held and told when to eat, drink, sleep, etc. then I'm sure someone else can schedule something for you

I agree with BoardSnow6... talking like that will discourage others (including myself) from wanting to participate in any meets.

Agreed ^^, I'm not interested in the "drive" if the attitude is going to be as poor as your post was, R3.

How was the meet Saturday? I really wish I could've gone, but getting ready for the reception and yesterdays' race turned out to be more time consuming than earlier planned. As John stated, Sunday's are majority out for the 3-4 us from the akron/cleveland area because of Auto-x but we'll see when dates get planned, thanks for planning stuff out Synthetic

Honestly, how can i not have a bit of an attitude in this thread??!!....look at the original post...it was chill, informal, and not specific ON PURPOSE...it was a feeler to see who is out there....then i get roasted like Flava Flav for no apparent reason other than one individual felt i was too vague....well excuse me for writing my own thread....anyhow, my last post was more specific and with an attitude ON PURPOSE....i am not looking to meet limp-wristed P.C. people...if there is just one guy on this board that has a passion for cars and angry driving like I do, then that is who I hope to find.....
