i might make it. gotta recover from my vacation to tampa first. had a great time driving through the tennesse/kentucky mountains at 90mph+ till my pace car got pulled over for driving like an idiot (cutting ppl off and not being able to stay in their lane, the 8 had no problem staying in the proper lane =)

Haha, we were just in Clarion last night driving around. You should come, it's just a reception, you've already been to the important part lol, sorry I'm not into weddings that much.


By the way everyone, as we are going through cooks forest would anyone wanna stop, and either have a game of golf, or go kart race etc...? I should be getting some prices today if anyone wants to take a rest stop in the middle of the trip. I'm still trying to find a road from cooks forest to the bamboo that has mind bending turns.

 

I found a good road, I would probably rate it a B+. Also the karts are around $6, golf is around the same, boats are around 20-40. That's if anyone wanted to play a little. Can't wait.

 

i cant make it. was informed the other day that i have to be at my aunts for a family gathering.

 

I hate to do it, but I'm not going to make this one. The front tires are corded on the 8 (just found this out yesterday) and my new tires won't be here in time to get on the car. I "could" toss the autocross wheels and tires on the car, but I don't want really put wear and tear from street driving on them.

Have fun guys, and someone drink a beer for me :D

 

Yeah, I may ride out with Jon. . . but my 8 is just plain broken right now. So I can't bring mine. Or if the weather holds I'll take the motorcycle. We'll see.

So between 9-12 it looks like nothing, and might change for the better the closer the meet gets I hope.

 

really wish i could make this meet, sounds like fun. maybe the next one we could do somthing a bit different. instead of just going to get something to eat we could go to a casino. there is one just across the ohio border in west virginia that i go to pretty often with some friends. i was there last week and then drove to cinci afterwards and the road i took went right along the river and was a pretty nice ride. im sure there are some good twisty roads in the area that we could find.....

 

Well, we might stop at cooks and play a little if people want to, then maybe after we eat stop at my place for a few beers or whatever.

Since they are together, I doubt she'll go without him.

And last I spoke with Vyn... he was going.
As far as his car.... that'll give us something to talk about at the meet.

Don't worry about age... our local group has people in the low 20s through to the 40s and its still nice to have everyone together.

 

I'm 30, so not too far off lol, but that shouldn't be a problem since the tri-state meets we go to there are some a little older, and great to talk to.. Well I hope megz and tiresmoker can make it. Can't wait to talk .

We'll be leaving Streetsboro, OH at 8am and it'll take us 2hrs to get there.... so we'll be rolling in just after 10am.
How long you guys going to wait at Wal*Mart before moving on?

 

We'd probably be waiting till 10:30, or when everyone thinks everyone is there so no worries about getting there and no one being there. We'll be towards the back of the parking lot.
