Does anyone know of a shop in the New York area looking for an apprentice?

If anyone knows of a shop or a rotary shop I could call. I am very interested in becoming a rotary mechanic and there aren't any schools that specialize in this field at least not that I have heard of. If anyone knows of a school that focuses especially on rotary please let me know, I'm very eager to learn, thanks.

check out JR in elmont i think

but can i ask a question.. are you doing this as a hobby, or for a career choice, because as a career being JUST a rotary mechanic doesnt seem like a great idea. you have such a small client base.

Unless of course you are planing on becoming an all round mechanic with a knowledge of rotaries.. in which case COMPLETLY ignore me and good luck....

I'm not sure really, I just want to know how to work on rotary, but I would also and I have no choice, but to learn all around auto mechanics as well.

Thanks though, my friend told me the same thing about doing it as a hobbie. (best way to go).

Thanks for the info, I might not get a chance over there, we had a falling out. If I see you tonight I'll tell you about it. I don't want to talk here because it could give a bias opinion about that shop when it had nothing to do with the quality or attitude of the owner (who was totally cool, when all was said and done with).
