Custom shop in boston?
Hey guys, i'm looking to get some interior work done. (upholstery, headliner) can anyone recommend a place to go? I'm looking for a place that i can go back to again and again for different stuff (installs, audio, etc). It seems there aren't many real "custom" shops like there are on the west coast.
let me know!

I know there is R.A.D. in Norwood. They are so-so in my opinion since I've seen the owners and they are cocky kids I used to go to school with back in the day. Pretty much set the shop up with mommy and daddies money and got a few in's with the Pat's players and hence now have a steady customer flow.
Keep in mind though from what I found out, they outsourse ALOT of their work. I know alot of shops do this but from talking to a few people all they do in house is the custom audio everything else is outsoursed to people in the area (as in you drop the car off their then they drive it to that person). I've seen pictures of their work from my previous job and they do alright stuff, nothing crazy or over the top to be honest.

Welcome man.
If your really serious about it I can/could send a email to a friend who's bf and herself are into car shows and stuff. She's redoing her interior right now but I'm unsure if she's doing it herself or having someone else do it. I just remembered about her right now lol. I could find out if they can recommend someone.

You should try Sound in Motion: http://www.sound-in-motion.com/
They are a top notch audio install shop. They also say they do custom interiors, which makes sense, since some of the bad-*** audio installs involve a fair amount of interior work (custom door panels e.g.). They can probably also refer you to a good place for upholstery.
But they are not cheap.
