never been to it but looks like there is a bar half a mile away from five guys called the orange ale house. five guys is 440 boston post rd, orange and the ale house is 570 boston post rd, orange. pretty easy to get to off 95 - exit 41 (left at the exit if coming from the south, right at the exit if coming from the north) then left onto boston post road and it will be on your left just under half mile.

depending on the time, i might be a little late b/c i just started running with my running club until about 7:30. i don't know what time everyone wants to get together but i can always join late.

There's a black bear and buffalo wild wings at the mall a mile or two from 5 guys, orange ale house is decent for a bar, bad food though.

So let's set the location in stone... 5 guys on Boston post rd. Then figure out a bar from there

really? BW3? i guess i got spoiled on archie moore's wings b/c i can't stand BW3 for food. i'm cool with wednesday or thursday and would be able to make either around 7:30. again, don't wait for me and definitely have it earlier if others are looking to go earlier.

 

Ok let's not get too far off topic here, we all know the attention span of this thread is not the best. 5 guys is a good place to meet cuz it has a big empty parking lot, then we can decide where to head, Archie moores and wild wings are both pretty close.

Wednesday at 7pm, we'll stay there til about 8 then head out, if you'll be later than 8 let me know and well work it out.

Anyone in for the autocross tomorrow?

 

I can't make it to the autocross tomorrow. cartct is awesome though. Is the next meet for a tuesday??? I can only make it on tuesdays or sundays, i work stupid hours and have a lot of studying to do. Medschool ain't easy haha.

 

Autocross tomorrow is actually Fairfield County Sports Car Club, they're a little more beginner friendly than cart.

Next meet is Wednesday 7/22, but if its alright with everyone else we might be able to move the on after to Tuesday 7/28

 

i can't make tuesdays but if they work better for the majority, definitely move them to tuesdays. it would be nice to see the group start getting bigger.

 

CTrx8- That's why I'm thinkin its a good idea to switch it up so everyone gets a chance to roll out. This coming week is definitely Wednesday though.


Also, Wayne Mazda in NJ is having a huge Mazda event on August 30th. It's only about an hour and a half from southwest CT, so I'm thinkin we can meet up and head down together if anyone's interested, last year was a pretty big turn out with some sweet rotaries, even a couple RX3s, all gens of RX7 and even some of the crazy old station wagons. Whole thing is free including the catering.

mxjb848- We'll probably be out for awhile, last time I think we left around 11:30...don't really remember the end too well... so if you won't be out until after 8 when we leave Five Guys, PM me and we'll get in touch to let you know where we'll be.

I'd probably recommend one of the places in the mall, both have nice outdoor patios if the weather is nice... Orange Ale House is 1 mile away from Five Guys, the mall is 2 miles... just a lot of lights in between.

 

There is also a poll hall / bar called the blue cube up post road bin there once. Not to bad a place give us something to do while we bullshit. I don't think there is karaoke for hoe tho...
