Coping with snow storm
Hope all my fellow NE members are doing okay with the winter storm passing through. It has stopped snowing in the DC area. Now it's just a matter of digging out from under! My poor car...no garage. This picture is from 9 this morning.

digging out
Yes, digging out. That will be the task of the week! My Miata is one huge snowdrift - totally covered. My fulltime AWD Subaru XT6 is a larger snowdrift - it's covered from a foot over the roof almost straight back into the parking lot where it tapers to maybe only 9" about 10 feet back. I had to walk the normal 5 minute walk to work so I don't lose a vacation day; there is almost no place to park here; the doors are almost snowed shut - as was the door to our townhouse last night and again this morning - drifts in the front yard are about 4', 6' on the back wall of the office here in Frederick. My back is NOT looking forward to even doing a path through the sidewalk again which is likely covered over again after clearing a path it twice in the past 24 hours. That's before I get to the cars; I miss my garage! Getting to be less and less of a garageless townhome fan - and I LIKE snow!

Well, I dug out my RX7 at 5 this afternoon so I don't have as much to do at 5 in the morning
Felt that my work qualified as a Kodak moment....
