I would love to do this except my schedule doesn't work out too well for it. And I hate going to places like that on the weekends, too many people for me.

I'll have to see about mid-ohio. Sundays are usually pretty busy for me, might just go saturday idk.

I'd like to see some of the Rolex morning practice, so I'm looking to get on the road by 9:00 Friday. Saturday I'm bringing my wife, probably leaving home bewtween 11 & 12 to make it up there for lunch, some of the Continental race and,of course, the main event at 5:00.

Anybody who wants to join me at those times, let me know. Let's have a good Columbus turnout!

Hi All,

Hey Jeff, Ra long time, no see!!

Does anyone know someone whos looking to buy an 8? If so, I'm selling mine. '04 Sunlight Silver GT w/47,000 miles, navigation, clear corners, LED accents and more. It's NEVER been raced or autocrossed. I just never had the chance working 2 jobs. I have only put about 6,000 miles on the car in the 2 1/2 years I have had it. Only thing it needs is a new drivers side sun visor, mines gone limp. Also, the strakes are not the factory ones and were $75 ebay knockoffs. They are coroded, but are easy to replace or remove all together. For those who don't know, they add zero to the car as far as mechanical or driving goes. They are just cosmetic add-ons.

I want $15,000 for just the car. I have tons of extras I never got around to putting on the car. $16,500 for the car and ALL the extras listed below.

-Authentic MazdaSpeed Pre-Painted Side Skirts w/install kit - New in Box - $800
-Authentic MazdaSpeed Front & Rear shocks - New in Box - $500

~I have all the coordinating stereo face plate trim pieces as well.
-**RARE** Authentic Mazda Illuminated Shift **** Red - New in Box - $275
-Mazda 40th Anniversary Silver Engine Cover - On Car - $250
-Authentic MazdaSpeed Red Billitt Oil Cap - On Car - $40

man! i hope everything gets fixed soon! it was good cruising with you for a bit! the intake is doing great so far. gonna try to make a duct that goes thru the front like you see on some drag cars. just so i dont suck up warm air from the radiator.

Will,

Sorry to hear you're leaving the fold .

I wish you luck in the sale, but you may need a gun at that price! If you get 10 grand out of an 04, you're probably doing well.

If you can, send me a pic of the b-pillar appliques. I have to do something, as my drivers door plastic is scratched.

Thanks

Take 270 to 71 north towards Cleveland. First exit is Polaris. Next exit is Rt 36. I'm pretty sure the Pilot station is to the right once you get to the top of the exit ramp.

Sorry - yes. I consider the Gemini exit and the Polaris exit to be one single exit. The Rt 36 exit is past both of them. A bit after the Gemini/Polaris interchange there's a rest stop that, I think, is closed down. Rt 36 is just after the rest stop.

Jeff, I will be at the track early on Friday, checking out the corral etc. I will be at the SpeedSource Paddock most of the day, as I will be assisting the #69 car in the pits. We should have a good turnout, with the Columbus, and Cleveland/Akron guys, we have a few people coming out from VA and one guty from CT and a number of Midwest folks too, IL, IN, MI.

I don't have a car count as of yet, but we'll have folks on the ground Saturday handling parking etc. Here is my cell if you need anything:

440-382-3636

See you next week!

Marlon,

Sounds great! I'm shooting to arrive about 10ish Friday. I'll track you down and see if I can help with anything then.

Guys,

In light of Marlon's other post (https://www.rx8club.com/grand-am-experience-mazda-owners-137/3rd-annual-mid-ohio-mazda-corral-196545/), the Columbus caravan will hammer down from the Pilot at 10:00 Saturday, in order to make the sign-in for the pace laps!

I look forward to seeing everybody next week!

Still slightly tentative myself for the race next weekend, but things are looking good. I might be there on Friday, but that's doubtful...probably just Saturday. Might join you guys in leaving from Pilot at 10 too. There was a great turnout last year...here's hoping we beat it this year. By the way Marlon, any final agenda or schedule of events that's available? Probably bringing the wifey this time and, while she won't admit to it, I think she'd like to gawk at Dempsey.

Brian,

Glad to hear you might make it! I'm not sure that Patrick will make it, but my wife will be there Saturday anyway.
