April 6th Snowstorm FTL. But I don't think Columbus picked up much if anything from that freak.

For me, a meet would have to be before 3/24. I'm having spinal surgery that day and will be out of commission for a bit.

Having said that, meets are no fun when it's 8 outside

Unhappy

I think my 8 has water in the oil
I checked it on Friday and there is a creamy substance that looks like mayo on the dip stick. I tried it a fee time but every time I pull it out the substance is on there. I called Mazda and they want me to take it in Friday, and today I will be taking it to immke to have it looked at as well.
A few things I read say its normal due to condesation buid up.

Any ideas?

Dipstick condensation. It's a fairly common issue, but IIRC it's not much to worry about. There are plenty of threads on the board about it.

It's normal. If your car is under warranty, it's a quick fix. The fix actually doesn't fix it, per se, just hides it better.

That is the idea I was getting from some of the things i seen on here. But i did go back to the dealer and they changed the oil again just to be sure.

Not that it helps you now, but Mazmart has O2 sensors for $235 front and $115 rear.

Yet another reason I won't go to Byers!

Any of you guys head of Meade Engineering in Hilliard? They're apparantly the only authorized Cobb ProTuner in Ohio though it doesn't look like they work with Mazdas.

http://www.meadengineering.com/

Trying to find a dyno tuner able to program to the Cobb and right now my options are the Interwebz or these guys since the next closest are North of Detroit and East of Pittspuke.

Yeah, I am familiar with Mead. They are VERY active on the Impreza forum I hit now. They have a good name rep, great customer service, good pricing. They just moved, I have not seen the new place.

Take care,

Brian

P.S. All of my new parts are in for my front bumper swap. Going to the shop for paint next week...I can't wait. doing the happy dance, feeling it, feeling it LOL.

Funny you should ask, posted this earlier today...

http://www.centralohiosubarus.com/fo...showtopic=6894

I hope it's OK to post the link. I don't want to pollute this thread with the entire post. The bumper took some more funds than expected so I still have not had my aftermarket stereo installed in the new car...Bumming. However patience is a virtue or some crap like that LOL.

Looking forward to getting together now that the weather is getting warm. Can't wait to get my summer tires back on and hit Hocking county.

Take care,

Brian
