Heck yeah, this car will get the panties to drop ...and I have plenty of room in the back seat

Wow I don't think I would want that car either. It's one thing to add graphics but that is a bit much to me.

Here is a pic of one of the rims for Will and 12oclock to see. Sorry I didn't know how to send via PM.

They do have some scratches where the previous owner took off the Axis sticker. But when they are on the car you can't really see it.

Beautiful! I thought about doing something like this on game days with magnetic decals. I'd make it look more like the real helmets though, with buckeyes on the side and all.

I wonder what kind of discount they're offering after the USC debacle.

Oh - never mind - it's MD - they don't deal.

Wow, never had an issue with there service department. Course I ALWAYS am overly nice to them. They remember me and even cut me some slack when they don't have to or shouldn't .

Oh - never mind - it's MD - they don't deal.
Huh???

Picked out my 2004 last December. They had an outrageous sticker price on the window. Talked them down $3300.00 after three rounds of this is MY best offer. However it was winter and they had three other 8s on the lot. They must have changed their "style" since then I guess. I even, once we had a set price, did one more walk around the car and stated the tires were under the legal limit showing them the "dime test". They stated they could do nothing. I walked. The next night I get a call from the sales rep stating that if they do it would I sign tomorrow.

Things must have changed harshly there, hope they marked down the starting price to reality.

Take care,

Brian

i am beyond nice and i havnt had a problem until now... it just upsetting that being a loyal customer and they were unwilling to see it as a problem.. i took it back to them showed them the service mng literally said i dont see the problem with it.. he thought it was OK for my car to leave the shop with no oilcap and paper towel and rubber bands. instead with out telling me. then letting it go a week. i could go into more detail but i dont feel like typing it all

they were great for a year or so, and all of a sudden they flat out refused me service. gearbox was grinding to all hell, and they said it was normal and they wouldnt do anything. took it to ricart and had to have two gears replaced, it was that bad.

It's a long haul for me, but Ricart gets the nod now. They replaced my engine in January and kept me well informed all the way. They weren't smart enough to fill it completely with oil or to recharge the air conditioning, but they sorted that out when I raised the issues.

I hear Kings Mazda out of Cin is good. But that's a long haul. I used to go to Castruccis in Dayton for oil changes before doing my own. I never had any issues with them except for them usually overfilling the oil a bit. They did some warranty work for me as well small things but never had any issues though.

Always the RX-8/7 store. However some days I wonder about them as they flooded my car. Other than that they have very short working hours. They do nice work though.

Bummer about MD. I will mental note the comments and make sure to always CYA myself when using them.

Anyone try the stealership on Sawmill road? I have talked with them but ended up not taking my car in as I found a DIY on the issue I was having.

Take care,

Brian

I stopped by MD last night to order a small part and have the tech. show me what he "reseats" when my deploy airbag icon goes off.

While I was waiting they let me test drive this nice gray RX-8. License plate had twsted rx8. I showed them and drove it like I stole it................Psyche had to poke some fun at you.

Take care,

Brian

I've said it for five years now but Frank at Byers all but massages my nuts everytime I go over there. I was there yesterday getting my once a year oil change and he's the best Service Tech I've ever run into, hands down, regardless of automobile. Everyone has their issues I know but I trust Frank completely. Even reflashed the car for no charge. He once hand washed my car personally. He's also given me their commercial cleaning solutions, which in my opinion work better than anything you can get over the counter, for no cost. Maybe because were both Italian, who knows.

haha good stuff i like i like.. but in all seriousness they did it again! first thing my compression test came back fine.. i have the sheet with everyone on it in hand well in my other car.. it was i think 8.21 at 268? and 8.45 at 240? i cant remember of the top of my head. but as i was walking into the service bay i saw my car sitting outside with the front aero bumper pushed against the PARKING BLOCK!!! of course i about wigged out... they called the body shop and they are going to replace it.. so i suggested they take it off the price of the MS front... they are tring to tell me that the down through the paint and into the plastic scuffs and the bent undertray and the fact that my front bumper is dislodged and not flush with the fenders will only cost them $137.78 to fix.. and they are tring to charge me for the LABOR! grrr..... it keeps getting worse

frank is indeed awesome, but hes just a service tech and when you have a real issue its out of his hands. i hated leaving him, but the service manager paul was a downright god awful person
