Wow, I completely forgot about it. We're celebrating my grandfather's 98th birthday that afternoon but we can hang around till 2 or 2:30. Will you two be there? Wanna meet up for a snack? Maybe you can help convince my wife that I should get the CF hood. She keeps saying any car with a different color hood looks like it just came from the junk yard.

The MS CAI, Strut bars, Hi-Flo cat and RB exhaust are on. Sounds sexy and the push to readline comes quicker. Though I don't think the car handles any better with the strut tower bars. They look nice though. I purchased hood dampers that should be here any time.

So If you all want to get together sometime this Sunday we can do so. Time and place?

Oh yeah and my idea for a new hood is as follows: Seibon CF OEM replacement hood - Paint all of it the color of your 8 with the exception of the rotor bulge in the middle. Just a touch of carbon would look hot!! I have been considering it for awhile but have simply decided to spend the $$$ else where lately.

Has everyone got their 'T' flash yet?

So here's a question for you C-Bus folks: IF one of us were to go FI, besides RX7store, where in the vicinity (100 miles) would you go to have it installed and tuned? Would you stick to a rotary specialist?

Talk to Matt and only Matt up at Auto Assets in Powell. Really good guy and very knowledgable. He was working at Auto Exotica (Passen Motorsports) at the time when I had a bunch of work done to my Infiniti. He moved up to Auto Assets several years back hence the call there. Tell him that I referred you. If he can't do it (and I don't know why he couldn't), he'll know someone that will.

Other than that you have his old work Auto Exotica on Bethel (though their engine shop is off Westerville Rd.

Good luck.

Otherwise, Jason/ Xavier are going to be your best bet.

Hey guys! I've been in Miami for a week already and it's been a blast. I've seen more Ferrari's, Lambos, AMG's, and Porsches here in a day than I've seen elsewhere in my life. Yesterday though, I came across this $1.6, 1000 hp beast sitting at the Ritz in Souh beach. Just wanted to share a couple pics

I almost did it last weekend, but then I saw the forecast for the week was in the 60s. I was going to do it this weekend, but the forecast for this week is in the 50s. Maybe next weekend.

I've been considering snow tires for the 5 but haven't decided if they are necessary. What do you all think? The oem's are a Toyo all-season tire.

Thanks.

All seasons are a compromise - they don't do anything well. That said, they'll probably move the 5 around the flatlands during the winter.
