Well, I just got back from a trip to Sunny California, and I remember before I left I bitched and bitched about the gas prices, boy am I happy now that Im back in NY... 93 Octane in California is about $2.48 and it raises everyday... I was paying 2.04 before I left for 93 octane and now its $2.09... I always keep my eye out for cheap gas, and sometimes its very hard to find... I know two GREAT places to gas up in LI, if you have more to add please put it here, and date your post, and try to update us once in awhile so we have accurate information...

My first favorite which happens to be very close to me is a Citgo Station in Roslyn, its on Northern Blvd... Right next to Joanes Gourmet Pizza, and Dunkin Donuts... Its a full service station with 87 and 93 Octanes only as well as Diesel, its not a busy station with only 3 pumps, the primary business of the station is towing and auto repair, its not open late either, only till 6 on most days, and I think they are closed on Sundays (Ill check) It cost me 2.04 today 4-15-04.

The other great place is Next to the Home Depot in (I believe the town is Westbury) its the Hess Station, which also happens to be cheaper than other places, although I havent been there in a month...

Its really sad that 2.04 is considered cheap for gas, its getting rediculous

 

Usually, the cheapest gas is BJ's wholesale club. Its located in farmingdale on 50 Daniel St. by 110. It's always cheaper by at least 10 cents.

 

The Exxon over here in Hicksville is $1.96 for premium on Tuesdays...I guess they have one of those "10 cent off" days once a week. So, I made it so I time it for fill-ups on Tuesdays.

The Exxon is on the corner of South Oyster Bay Road and Old Country Road.

 

Gas is 1.92 in some places for high oct. I'm in North Tampa

 

I paid $1.84 today for 93 octane. I saw it at Kroger over the weekend for $1.74 (with Kroger's "customer loyalty" card).

 

You people are seeing much lower Gas Prices than us Islanders.... I saw two new low prices while I was out today.... If anyone lives in the Manhasset area, or drives past it or such you might be interested in the Gulf Station on Plandome Road (get deep into Plandome road and you'll see it...) 1.99 a gallon and its full service as well....

 

personally i stick with mobile. And i am frequent at Mobile on OCR by wantagh parkway
