Better to do this earlier rather than later....

It looks like a number of people will be going up to Limerock Park for the Grand-Am races and Mazdaspeed Coral goodness, and it'd be really nice to go up with a slick group of 8's. If you haven't done so yet, you'll need tickets and you should put your name and t-shirt size down on the thread here:

I'm proposing leaving from Nassau County around 8AM on Saturday, so we have plenty of time to set up shop at the Corral and get in on the parade laps around noon. Exact meeting location will be decided later depending on where people are located.

Guys from Brooklyn/Queens/Bronx/Staten Island: we'll be going over the Throgs Neck Bridge so we can easily group up around Whitestone or Bayside or someplace around there and then continue North together. The first half is highway, but after that it looks like really nice B-roads through Connecticut. Please post your name, location, and phone number (optional) if you want to join in the caravan.

John64 - I think different people will be up for different durations, peoepl are discussing that on the main event thread. I'll be up from saturday through monday. This thread is really just to organize a group drive up there.

NYC Drift King - Yea, whatever you gotta do for tickets is fine, just let us know here if you want to meet us for a group drive up. Where in the Bronx are you? You could meet us along the way someplace, we'll be going through the Bronx obviously, I'll determine meeting spots once I know where everyone's located.

I don't think this "caravan" is happening per se. I'll be leaving central nassau around 8, planning to make it up there before 11. Call me if you want to meet up at that time, but otherwise I'll just see you up there... [Remember: parade lap driver's meeting at 11:45!!]

 

oh i know thats why i have the alarm clock set for 530....to be in nj by 7...
