a fellow northeastern RX8 owner is coming to the cape from Conn. (value88). i am hoping to get my car back this week and be able to meet him down the cape, grab some food or whatnot maybe a little get together. I had a serious headache due to needing a root cannal so i didn't get a chance to talk to most of you guys at the cars and copters show. didn't know if anyone wanted to get together. my old boss wanted to see my new car too and he lives in sandwich. so i want to get down there anyway this weekend. so lets hear it, who wants to get together?

i don't care where but my only day would be sunday. it's the only day off i have.

Sure, I know tons of places. I grew up here for the most part. Sandwich is the next town over from me. The weekend looks like rain though. But who knows really. Send me a PM if you want.

I know it's not the shops fault as the insurance company has been slowing things down but i need to get my car back. today makes 3 weeks for some scrathes. so i'm gong to stop by there in a few minutes to see what the deal is. they were just waiting for some parts like the undertray to come in when i was there on monday.

 

well, this is super gay. the insurance comp. called them monday and put a hold on a previous supliment (like a work order) right when i left so they wheeled my car right back out of the paint booth because they didn't believe that the wheels cost as much as they did so the Fu@king car hasn't even been painted. you ever wonder why insurance costs so much? it's because they SUCK and they dick around to try to save a penney here and a penney their. Ever hear of the expression "Penney wise and Dollar poor"? thats insurance companies. they're the ones delaying this process. they"re are the ones forcing me to use a rental (at they're cost) for another week. this is a joke. this will be a month for some scratches on the drivers side, the things that i was payng for were done the day i told them to go for it but they can't go ahead with any work for the insurance company until they approve it. AGGHHHHHHHHHHHH i'm losing my mind.

Do you ever get the feeling like the world would run so much better if someone with common sense could just make the rules, like you or me ? they were questioning the $299 or something for each wheel and think it shouldn't be more than $289 each. but they are paying over $40 a day for me to drive in this rental. they put this on hold for another week for $30. that's less than 1 day for the rental. plus now i have to wait the entire weekend which is 2 extra days that the car wont even be touched. the shop is getting pissed because they want the car gone, i'm getting pissed because i want the car, and they told me about 8 days for an estimate. today makes 24 and i'm running out of days for this rental. if i run past 30 i'm contacting my lawyer and the insurance company will have to pay for the rental for longer, they keep holdng up the process.

i feel bad for the shop as much as i have self pitty. it's big car show time of year comming up and they have 6 vehicles that they are entering into the world of wheels, a late 70's Cutlas and a brand new challenger they want to get into the shop plus 2 bikes and 2 imports that they are bringing with them and stupid things like my drivers side are holding them up.

Got some bad news, my friends grandfather passed away and she is flying home from Colorado on sunday morning. I won't be able to do anything this weekend. I haven't seen her in about 8 months and my girlfriend and I are going to pick her up from the airport and take her home to be with her family. Sorry.

Oh and Value88, you will be from wherever I tell you your from. Ha ha ha. I don't know why I was thinking Conn.

i usually go down for a couple of days and stay with a friend of mine or me and the misses grab a hotel for a few. my friend is on the upper east side right now but moving to the upper west side soon. he calls it a lateral move ha ha ha.
