Boston Metro-West Area Meet
***UPDATE***
HEre is a link to the map of the route we were going to take. I am working with the insurance company and the body shop to try and get my car repaired ASAP! In the mean time for those that want in here you go.

Hey Rex Owners of MA!
We are going to try and get the Massachusetts RX-8 meets going.
Our first meet will be next Sunday at 4pm May 28th. The idea is that we will hold a meet once a month on Sunday afternoon.
I am currently mapping out the cruise route, found some amazing roads to drive that are not far from Boston at all. I will scout the areas this Sunday to ensure the accessibility of the meeting lot and to ride the rt 117 road.
At the end of the initial ride there will be places to eat and then we ride back. Gear head talk, fun driving stories, idea swapping the works!
Keep tuned to this thread as I will update with a link to the google map along with the finalized meeting place. My idea right now is to ride the winding part of rt 117 from Waltham.
If you have any question you can ask them here or PM me. We would like to have a good turn out for the first meet, so if you are in the NE area and not far from Boston or the Metro West area come on down, make new friends, hang out with old friends and have some fun.

So I get up this morning, go out to my car and what the **** do I find?
Yup, douchebags have torn off my mirror and scratched my car. Gotta get a rental, wait for the insurance adjuster tomorrow and get the car repainted and the mirror fixed. I don't know how long it will be in the shop. Color me pissed!

All MA 8 owners are welcome to come. I am going to the proposed location this weekend to make sure it is a good ride. On the map and on traffic cams it looks nice and mostly clear. I have a few routes stashed so that we are not driving the same road at each meet. Come one come all.
Yeah about limerock.. i have some things left to do to my car before I want to go there.
@Nelly and Yong: Come on out. It is bound to be fun. The more the merrier. Gearhead talk, mod talk and hopefully a few friendships can come out of it. Nothing wrong with driving buddies ya know. For instance I wish I had one of you to call when I was trying to find that damn magic bolt to remove the stereo last night. ;-)

maybe in braintree mall there is a chilis if we wanna eat or go in to the mall and chill and in the garage and take pics and do it maybe during the week ? just throwing it out there

The first one is an eat n cruise meet. Lets see what the turn out is like if any and go from there. Either way it is bound to be fun, why should TX and NJ have all the cruisin fun? MA has some really nice driving if yer will to go 30 min or less outside of Boston. I hate driving in Boston.

It's not this sunday its next sunday. Although given my update I can't make it. I will post the map tho for those who can, unless my car is fixed in time.

Finally getting some movement on my car being repaired and repainted. I would encourage you guys to still get together and meet n stuff. I mean it sucks I can't go, but I will make the next one.
