I definitely won't be coming. I have my 8, but have to drop it off at the shop for the new front end by 5pm.

Yeah well this ain't happening again. People were ******* morons and decided to do donuts and burn outs and loud revving..so Jordan's kicked us all out, even people that were just standing there. Then eventually the called the cops and all that jazz too.. Pretty stupid. Damn kids. :/

Over 300 cars and with that much testosterone in the air with no authority and it was bound to break loose at some point. I felt like I was in a scene from FNF. That was mad crazy cars of all types. Sucks because I never got a chance to look all around, though planned to after dinner. Only snapped a few photos as a result.

Great to see everyone that we did, even if it was just for a short time!

Sorry we bailed early, but we had a feeling it was going to get bad based on the cars that were rolling in. All it takes is a few "smart and very cool individuals" to get things going in the wrong direction. With an expired inspection on the 8, I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could.

Right when we left there was a guy in a Jordans van going around telling everyone to pack it in. Glad we left when we did!

Yeah, the asshats came out early. Every car that I heard did donuts/burnouts were cars that were invited by others or by word of mouth. I never posted on those forums.

We won't be doing the Kelly's/Jordan's meet again.

Tell your husband it was nice meeting him. I took off early (thanks to those morons) as well so I didn't get to say bye to everyone.

Yeah that was definitely a great meet until the asshats started to display their inherent need for attention. And when I rolled out someone at the end of the row shouted, "that's a shitty bike!".

Other than that, great stuff and it was nice meeting so many new people.

Thanks for the get-together. I only went there for a couple of minutes but it was a pretty cool meet.

I didn't know how far ahead the other cars were ahead of the RX-8 until I went to the meet. Wow to say the least.

It was nice meeting a couple of you fellow 8 members too.

Meh, it was nice to see the cars and all..as I said in NEPOC though, thanks Krysy and Jeff for being awesome and keeping me company while everyone disappeared :P but it was awesome hanging with you all and thats about...it. Once things turned gay..yeah..they turned gay. Boyblue, thanks for that, sorry to see it turned to ***. Believe it or not, I say next meet that is put together, aim for a smaller parking lot so people have less room and all to be dumb. Just my thoughts. Thanks again.

I've decided to take what happened personally. I'm hoping a lot of people will read/sign/comment on this so I can show it to Jordan's. I'm not doing this to try to get in their good graces so we can go there again, I'm doing this to clear our reputations as car enthusiasts.

Public Apology to Jordan's Furniture

You don't have to leave a comment, at least read it and put your (screen)name at the bottom.

Will comment as well. I was the first guy there with the red RX-8 and Mazda crew.

24 comments in 5 days is pretty good but that's not much if we had 300+ people there. I'm going to send this link to the managers at Jordan's this week so if you have something to say please do so; if not, at least put your name up there.

I posted a few comments. And I put up a apology comment at the Jordan/kelly apology site.

I can't believe that kid... I hope I never see him at a car show, not that I'd beat him up or anything.. I'd just let the judges and fellow car nuts know what he did. To me its all about respect and reputation, and he just lost all of it to me and I'm sure to alot of us.

Anyone look into Shoppers World that is right next door? I used to work there about a year ago at LnT (now bankrupt and liquidating btw haha ), and their parkinglot is MASSIVE. Maybe see if the Best Buy would be willing to let us hang out infront of their store. Just hype 300 plus people all with possibly money to burn at your store before you close up shop for the night.. and I'm sure the manager would like to entertain the thought. Just a idea

Taylor - IF by some grace of God, Jordan's/Kelley's lets us go there again, or wherever it's set up, you should charge $5 a car to get in. That way you might be able to pay for a police detail and give the rest of the money to a charity. Thoughts?

And you're up to 45 comments now
