I am just wondering if any other RX-8 owners from Beaver County, PA are on the forum.

My VR resides in Rochester, and I have seen a BB over towards JR's. I also have noticed another VR sitting in Beaver behind Subway...

 

Hey what up, I live in Cranberry currently, but i work in shippingsport at the nuclear plant(Beaver Valley) and im planning to move to Beaver County later this year. Im pickin up my RX-8 this weekend from the dealership. Do you know of any good places in the area(anywhere in sw-pa)that is know for tuning Rotarys?

lol, vr like everyone else i guess!!!! I really wanted black or white but it was a great price so i jumped on it. Im originally from the south hills (about 6-7 miles south of pittsburgh) and i know a shop in Washington PA called "Speed Seven" was know for building a couple of SUPER nice rx7s and supras that made major magazines but i havent been able to find out anything about it recently. RPM's in Wexford(McCandless actually) is "supposed" to be a good shop. They did a good job on my A/V sysem in my 01 stratus r/t but i have no experience w/ them in Perfomance. Hey Beavers, I am just a county over from you guys... I am not out that way very often either... but it is good to hear that there are some 8s near by.

 

A buddy of mine works at RPM, they do nice work. That is definately the place to go.

I've had my 2005 for 2 months now, I live in Wexford.

In that time I've seen 4 RX-8's, 2 VR's and 2 Ti Gray. I saw one VR and 1 Ti on 228 in Mars, the Ti today.

Ther are not too many of us out there!

Hey im looking for a good shop to replace and the bulbs in the projecors, i dont feel like going through the work to do it myself...let me know!!! Tried RPM's in Warrendale/Wexford but they closed their showroom and are only open by appointment. Also tried auto-effects in Monaca and they seem to tailor more towards audio and wheels cause when i brought my car by there the dude said, "man i almost dont wanna touch this car... i wouldnt know where to start to get to your headlights!!" <---- not a good way to get business!

 

There is nobody on this planet that I would rather punch in the face more than the ******* at Auto Effects in Monaca.

They dented my RX-8, and tried to cover it up--but failed. Do not ever go there.

 

Well, there's another black 8 I spotted parked in New Brighton...diagonal from Subway...anybody out there?

 

I'm from Cranberry~ or was. Went to SV. I don't get home much these days, deployed most of the time for the Navy. Stationed in VA. beach.

 

I live in pittsburgh, but I'm constantly out here since I work right outside of New Brighton. Just bought my 05 winning blue a few weeks ago, and I'm constantly driving up and down 376+279+60...

I usually see a yellow one driving in the opposite direction whenever I'm going to or coming from work... Thus far, I haven't seen another WB (which is one of the main reasons y I got this color)

anyway, those of us in the area need to have some meets or somethin...

 

That's funny, I've never seen you...you've never seen me...but I think we've both seen that yellow one...

And WB is a solid color for the RX-8, I dig it.

 

Actually, if your 8 has some sort of sticker in the driver's-side rear window, I may have seen you going toward beaver when I was leavin to go home yesterday around 5ish. I was going thru the construction when I saw a red 8 goin the other way...

 

I was drivin my vr 8 through beaver/industry around 4-4:15 wednesday afternoon!?!? i saw a silver 8 today in beaver around 640
