crosswound, I thought you were selling your car. I met rodrigo67 by chance at Balise Mazda a couple weeks back (his black car looks great with the yellow RX8 club emblem!) We should all get together for a western mass drive... when I had the WRX, there was a western mass monthly dinner meet with 10-20 Imprezas!

Anyway, I'm usually up in the Amherst / Belchertown area. I've seen a few RX8s at UMass campus (my silver, another silver, and a red one) but I think I'm the only one on this board.

 

Newton, MA here (12 miles west of Boston). I drive a Winning Blue with a loud exhaust. I'm out in western MA for customers and to visit my sister in Williamstown.

It's springtime and the snow's almost gone, so we all should get together. I look out for a silver 8 every time I drive through easthampton but haven't seen yours yet. I took a drive down rt 116 out in deerfield this weekend just to see what the condition of the road was. There's some frost heaves in spots but it doesn't look too bad and turned into a nice "fun" ride.

Deslok, thanks for the compliment, I was also thinking of painting the brake calipers yellow to match, when the weather gets warmer. Also, I have painted the engine bay yellow/black. I got grill screens on order, but I think that might be it for cosmetics.

I hear it's going to be in the 60's come thurs...getting excited... :D

In Mass, do you all pretty much keep the car parked during the winter, or does it work okay during those months?

May move out their and was wondering how my 8 would do.

 

If it does not coinside with the Elm St. Cruising Car Show (like it did last year), then I will be going. Bud plant is right down the road from me in Merrimack, NH.

The only challenge is getting it going from a standstill in really nasty stuff on an uphill, but that can be just as tough with FWD.
