Hey, I test drove my first Stick 8 (I drove an auto at Falkner) at that dealership. The titgrey with navi and charpell inserts.

And not to be nasty, but your dealership is a bunch of money grubbing pigs. Don’t know if you agree or defend them but my sales person (some Puerto rican/domican girl) should be fired. She along with the person she called over were pushy and quoted 2000 over MSRP. Then they fed me some BS about how the dealership never sells cars above MSRP and the internet MSRP from Mazda was not accurate. I walked out, and im sure you have some customer response email address, or just some place to write down comments so feel free to pass this on to the GM.

I ended up buying my car at Flemington Mazda, who gave me 3000 under MSRP, the follow thru and response that I deserve as a customer and the respect that I deserve as a person.

on rt 3. i was shifting lanes and downshifted at too high for the gear and car jerked. to avoid hitting the car infront of me i switched lanes. when trying to straighten her out, something made me fishtale and i was playing ping pong wit the gaurdrail and two other cars......All in all, i ended up with three cracked rims, my fron and read bumbers messed up, a lil of the rear quarter panel messed up, also it looked as if my front driver side wheel looked slanted like pushed in a lil. but everyone is ok and hopefully i will be back on the road soon enough with some serious suspension tune-up

Bergen County here - right by the stadium.

Should get my Winning Blue 8 next week.

Acid - sorry about your car - man I would be pissed. What crappy insurance do you have that won't pick up the tab?

acids rx8 + meetup scheming

dude that sucks, but with the weather here in jersey like it is i suppose off the road wont hurt too much. i just ordered my winter tires, getting annoyed at being at work and it starts snowing. dang tires can't handle anything, i nearly lost it on 280 east around the oranges 2 snows ago.

now past that, we NJers really gotta meet up sometime. i think we all like to drive, so whereever it is shouldn't be that insane of a problem. not to be biased, but the middle of the state might be best since it would minimize travel distance for the greater amount of people (extreme north or south rx8ers don't have to go farther than midstate)... just an idea.

?

Fully loaded silver/red leather, GPS, 6 speed, in Westfield exit 135 or 7? Always going too fast to see the sign. I see a lot of waiters out there on this thread. Dealership I went to had a ton to pick from, plus I got a good discount from 34.5K list, to 29K, why wait? I do have to say, the 8 is terrible in the snow, and you can't get snows in the right size.

i tend to agree with most of the comments on just getting 17s for the snow tires, providing a quick and painless swap when the weather changes, as opposed to all that is entailed with switching the tires off the rims, balancing, etc

i hope to have a bit more insight on that issue next week, when my winter package shows up.

What's up guys. I'm over in Lyndhurst.....Bergen County.
Looking to purchase / lease the RX8.
Any dealership recommendations? I've been to East Coast Mazda and I am currently dealing with Maxon Mazda online.

A fellow Lyndhurst-ite.

Just bought mine last week at Wayne Mazda.

I went to East Coast and got pissed because they tried to tell me that I had to get the spare tire kit when I didn't want it.

I had the S-plan, so I don't know if I can fairly judge Wayne Mazda. The salesperson was good, but it was the "financial" guy that was the one to watch out for. They did try and pull some fast one's - like charge me for documentation fees, and credit inquiry fee (what's with that), installation of the options that I wanted and weren't on the car. I believe I overpaid for LoJack also.

Did you see the black 8 on Chase? I haven't seen it for a while (about 1-2 months).

Be sure to budget winter tires, especially with the way the secondary roads in Lyndhurst are during the snow.
