Any other 8's in Buffalo?

Hey everyone, just got back from Ft. Lauderdale where I picked up my Blue 6SP GT w/ Nav, broke it in down there and had an awesome trip back to Buffalo. I haven't seen any other 8's around and was just wondering if anyone else has theirs yet?

I am in Rochester and also have a blur mt6 with Nav. I alo got the spoiler, aero kit, and rotary accent pckge. Thought I may have had the only one in upstate NY, lol. The weather up here makes these a bit less attractive. Oh well I fell in love and it is worth driving a winter beater.

I'm in Rochester also, and I'll be driving the car in the winter. I got a winter tire package from Tire Rack.

jkamen,
What Rochester dealer did you buy from? I went to Holtz Mazda.

I got mine from Holtz as well. What color, trim etc. did you get and when? I know that there are only a few around here. I have seen a red, tit grey, and yellow. I know I was the second sold out of Holtz. How about you?

Second sold? Is yours black?

Mine is silver / red & black, with mud guards and CD changer. It's a 6-speed, but then I don't think they have had an automatic in yet. Mine was about 5th or 6th sold. Delivery August 25.

No, I'm a GP also. Funny that two of the rare RX-8's in the area belong to dentists. I live in Williamsville also, I think I saw you driving once, because the only other one I've seen driving was titanium. That was my second choice in color. The only others I've seen were a black, red, and yellow on the Northtown Mazda lot, and a Silver one in the VW lot on Millersport. Are you going to be driving yours this winter?

Hey Teef, I bought Parelli snows, but really have not tested them on snow(no snow in Buffalo, yet!!) They are a nice ride on dry roads. I've seen a black and silver 8 in the last 2 weeks. Do you have Fla. plates?? A salesman at Northtown had his 8 stolen. They stripped it and torched it. He was on the west side(elmwood area) Car found ,then stolen again!! A flatbed picked it up....gone.

Yes, I did have Fla plates because I bought it in Ft. Lauderdale - I wasn't able to get the specs I wanted in Buffalo without waiting a very long time. I have family in Fla and they were able to keep on top of the Mazda dealer there for any preorders that fell through, so I got mine on Aug 1st and had a great drive back up here. Now I have NY plates on though. That's horrible about the car being stolen, I didn't hear about that. I got some Blizzak LM-22's on 17" wheels that handle great in the snow (the DSC works fantastic) but you still have to be careful of course.
