I just bought my first 8 on Tuesday and wanted to say hi. I'm in Cincinnati, Oh and I haven't seen a whole lot of 8's around, but I know you're out there. I have to say that so far that this is the most fun i've had driving other than the old man's '69 Vette.

First thing's first.

1) Drop your car with some springs to get rid of the nasty fender gap.

2) Get some clear corners.

(Optional) 3) Get some rims.

 

1: Swap out your red/black interior
2: Drop your car'
3: Tint Windows
4. Paint Calipers
5. Get wheels or powder coat
6. get sound system

^ ha ha. I have to agree, its an addiction alright. Soon you'll bee looking for foot-well lights, and coil-overs, and the different product you can use to keep your car polished . You might break the bank, but you'll have a smile on your face every time you get in your 8. Enjoy man and welcome.

 

Thanks for the welcome. Mods will come in due time. I need to get used to having a car payment again first. For now, I'm just going to enjoy how well put together the car is and put what's left of my money into the gas tank as RX8YA said. Chrism are you from Youngstown, Oh by chance? I'm originally from Youngstown and we always called it the armpit of Ohio. I haven't lived there for over 10 years, so i was worried that it had spread.

 

Welcome congrats on the 8! and wat the hell is up with these exterior/interior mods you have for him? Nothing is better than a performance mod! Intake, exhaust, headers, cobb accessport, springs could technically be on the list, and turbo!!!
